If i was a parent id be like your dad too, i may not agree, but i would be so proud to have a kid who can think for themselves, carve their own path separate to whats expected of them, creatively thinking and feeling towards and through their experiences rather than just following whats in front of them, id value my child’s freedom to explore, fall and learn by their own timeline. This way they can cultivate their own depth in understanding life thats earned through their experiences/mistakes and not just by what I’ve told them. Im 31 now and when i reflect back on days passed, the most rewarding lessons are the ones i had to live through while having the space to do so. Unfortunately i didnt get that space often as a kid because my parents are traditional asians who micromanaged everything lol but when i moved cities when i was 22, the world opened up and i slowly unsheltered myself. I have aqua venus and mars and a heap of water (pisces and scorpio) in my chart. If anyone wants to love on us let us be us without control or judgement, it means everything. Yeah peeps say im detached or daydreaming or somewhere else, but I’m there..just simultaneously in two or three other places too haha

Asking a Venus in Aquarius to invest in emotions is hard, especially for me and also being a Capricorn lol I love helping people and understanding them but you’re right my logical ness can definitely hinder potential relationships for me, I’m too quick to judge and if I see any red flags I’m OOOOUT!! I also view it as, this is who I am, if you can’t accept me for who I am and being an individual who thinks ahead, follows her gut feeling and has seen these same scenarios play out with other people and they don’t go so well, I don’t even bother because I value my time.
