2017 she came so close to winning every big tournament except the French. Wished she won one.

She just didn't have enough energy to compete at the end. That's all. Otherwise she was amazing throughout the year.

@@SmithyPLI think it’s successful because she was consistent. Her 2015 season could be more successful, because she won three titles, but she wasn’t consistent, due to falling 1st round in the French. Also, factoring everything shes been through, this was definitely a successful season for Venus, especially when she made a slam final besides wimbledon.
