Lots of fun stuff here! I managed to get a very Berry paisley & a Java blue mask, one for me & one for my husband. It's too small for him though, and I had to shrink mine in the dryer so there's no gaping. Your backpacks are beautiful! Performance twill black is a great black, and park stripe is so pretty and feminine. I'm terrible at math, but I excel at Vera math 😂😂. Thanks for taking the time to share your goodies!

I just love the style and it is extraordinary in the Performance Twill. I do think that the black one is classic, thanks and I agree that the Park Stripe is much more feminine and dainty. Vera math just makes sense, right?! LOL

I was looking forward to its debut at the Annual Sale. I’ll have to make a trip to the outlet store when it reopens. Lastly, the beach towel in Tropics Tapestry is gorgeous 😍!!!

Thanks Rebecca. The masks are actually quite comfortable. They don’t have a bendy nose adjustment thing, but really nice comfortable fit. I was looking forward to the Penelope’s Garden debut as well. I’m anticipating more Penelope’s Garden in the next Online Outlet Sale, which I hope is coming soon. Maybe they will combine the regular OOS with the modified/special (current pattern) one?! That’d be outstanding! My fellow Veraholics and I have been speculating that there will be an amazing OOS coming this week since the Annual Sale didn’t happen. We don’t know but are hoping 🤞The beach towel looks even more gorgeous in person, thanks!!! 😍💙💜

Loved your haul! I have an XL Campus in Foxwood and I love it so much. That’s so weird about the chest strap. I don’t use that strap either. Glad you were able to get some masks! :)

Yep, sometimes I’m an idiot! Turns out that chest strap is adjustable! I’m so excited and though I feel pretty stupid I’m even more in love with the backpack now!!! Thankfully it wasn’t a deal breaker for me, but so much happier now that I know it is such a great design. Hope you are doing well. Stay safe!

I’m kind of kicking myself for not ordering a couple of the Penelope’s Garden items. I just love the colors and of course the hedgehog 😉🦔. I completely agree with you about the chest strap on the backpack. It was almost up to your neck! It wouldn’t be a deal breaker for me, as I don’t use the chest strap normally, but it would be nice to have option to use it if necessary. It’s still a nice backpack!

That’s ok Cynthia, you haven’t missed out. It is a brand new pattern so it should still be out in full force when the stores finally reopen. Meanwhile, maybe they will have another big online outlet sale soon?! I hope they are planning a big one for next week since that is when the sale would’ve been... As for the chest strap, definitely NOT a deal breaker for me thankfully. However, another viewer pointed out that it looked like it might be adjustable. Guess what?! IT IS ADJUSTABLE (boy don’t I feel like an idiot?!) 🤦🏻‍♀️LOL. The strap has a slide on it and you can move the chest connections (both sides) down several inches and then it fits normally! Oops. YEAH! If it’s possible, now I love the backpack even more!!! 😁

Hi Princess! Thank you for your review of the Campus XL Backpack. I recently decided to go with a backpack instead of a travel bag and spent days and HOURS trying to decide on which Vera Bradley to get. I finally decided on the XL in Raspberry Medallion that I was able to find on Ebay. Silly me, Zulily had one priced so reasonably but my indecision caused me to miss out... but Ebay was priced pretty good too. Would love to know how to take advantage of Vera's online outlet store? I didn't think I could online. I also ordered the medium cosmetic bag which I am looking forward to as I have the Large one that lays flat and I LOVE it. Thank you again and I will watch more of your videos! :-) You do a great job :-)

Love your videos! I just got the XL black campus bag too! And the chest straps are adjustable! They move up and down just figured that out but I don’t use them anyways

I had to go back and look at it right after I made the video and I’m super excited that it adjusts quite nicely and fits great. Delightful I have to admit that I was totally clueless but turns out that chest strap is adjustable! Thank goodness!!! It can slide up and down by several inches. Even though it wasn’t a deal breaker for me, I’m really truly happy to find out that it can move up and down. So cool!! Now I love the bag even more!!!

I’m thinking of ordering a bag but not sure if I should given covid-19. Bag is performance twill on the go crossbody so not like I can put it in the washer. You said you know someone who has, but I’m afraid to do so with a brand new bag. Would love your thoughts on that. You’re great! Thank you

Too funny Lisa, and you’re not wrong 😜 We joke about “no such thing as too much Vera” but I’m running out of room and seriously can’t afford to continue the habit 🤑 But it’s fun and I’m happy to share so here we go... As for the COVID-19 thing, certainly something to consider. However, there is more than one way to ensure your safety when ordering a new bag. First, you can leave the package outside for a while. I spray thoroughly with Lysol then leave them in the sun for a few hours. If there’s any doubt leave them longer (days even). I use gloves and mask when handling any packages and am careful not to cross-contaminate. Boxes now NEVER come into my house at all. When I’m ready to open them I do so outside and then dump contents on tile inside my front door then dispose of the box and gloves in dumpster outside. I can sanitize the tile as needed later. If I’ve left the package long enough I proceed to open normally & do spot decontamination as needed along the way. Since Vera stuff takes several days to arrive, anything on the inside of the box should be pretty safe by the time it gets to me. As for the bag itself, if you still feel the need to sanitize further, you can spray with Lysol and leave it in the sun for a few hours. Or, as you mentioned, you can put thing through the wash. My friend that washed her performance twill put it on cold gentle and did not use bleach. I’m not sure her experience helps in this case. Does this help answer your question and concerns?

More baggage on your chest...LOL!!! I hear ya. I do think they are great for select situations but mostly I don't use them. Good to know that they work and they fit properly though. Would've been pretty pissed if they weren't adjustable and totally unusable. As a rule, I'd rather have features I don't use vice needing features I don't have.
