Wow! She was so articulate in her description of the challenges she went through! I understand much better what is going on inside the brain of someone (re)learning to interpret high frequencies. And I better realise the willpower it demands, as someone goes against his habit, to focus on the ‘squeaking’ instead of wishing it away. Excellent video. Very educational.

After your brain made the connection, did the other voices become automatic or was every sound a training experience. I just got my implant surgery and activation is next week.

Hi Vera, glad to hear your hearing gets better. I had the implant in 2016. Do you have any idea how much is the cost of ugrading the sonet 1 to sonet 2 ? Thank You
