It was beautiful when I first saw it and it made me a little uncomfortable and self conscious but with closer expectation I noticed things.... What I really want to know is the dress sizes. tailynne rush vera wang makes sizes for all bodies plus most women have their dresses altered to fit them perfectly anyways. honestly if vera wang is within your price range, they will make you a custom order dress to your measurements. it's not really a huge deal. i think people are just freaking out because they aren't comfortable with their shapes. :(

Vera Wang is a brilliant business woman. She designs beautiful clothes and she knows these are not appropriate wedding dresses...she is just drawing attention to her brand. I usually love Vera Wang dresses but there are only a couple of these that are lovely, the rest are nighties for a horror flicks modeled by dead zombies.

I thought this was going to be a documentary commercial of sorts that had to do with eating disorders, pressure to look a certain way for a wedding day maybe, a stereotypical infomercial of sorts...And then thought no, no way would this be a wedding dress commercial...those are stunning dresses but no, no way, it must be something else because no one in their right mind would select women who look like their last meal was at least a week ago to sell anything other than maybe rehab resort. I am shocked and disappointedly Vera Wang and the label as a whole. For me I may live a healthy lifestyle but what makes me sick is when I have to view a commercial like this before watching a painting tutorial with my 11 year old niece who told me just a few weeks ago that she is watching her weight when I asked her why she didn't eat her lunch. Shame on you Vera, of all designers Vera Wang would have been my last guess to produce such a video. I can not and will not support any designer or label who allow models who look sick and wasting away, having handles for hip bones and ribs noticeable on their back represent their label. Then to really dig their own grave promoting the label on KZbin where kids and teenagers spend around 10+ hours a week on average to see the commercial! This was what I get to see when I want to watch an art tutorial targeted for teenagers and young adults with my 11 year old niece? This needs to be restricted to channels with mature audiences or restricted from being viewed during the day.

Am I the only one that sees the empowering side of this video? The girls in solid white are unhappy and look sickly while they wait in the bedrooms, but at the end the woman in the black dress is dancing and looks beautiful. She's changing the classic wedding dress look and bringing more black into the dresses, setting the girls apart from the standard of "purity" at marriage and making them wait in hotel bedrooms just to please their husbands. Instead of finding this video disturbing I found it to show how we're changing as a society. Women won't just sit by now and look "pretty" for their husbands.

I read every comment on this video, almost every one of was bashing it some how, saying these women are anorexic, and unhealthy, and some went as far to say they are disgusting and horrid. I am not in any way promoting using anorexia, or any other eating disorder, to become what society today tells us is "beautiful" and "attractive", but no body watching this video knows for a fact if these models are indeed anorexic, or bulimic, or whatever. I don't either, so i don't think anybody has a right to call them disgusting, or sick. Maybe they were born that way. Maybe you see all of their bones protruding because of a PHYSICAL disorder they were born with. Maybe, they eat, but don't gain weight. Fact of the matter is you we don't know, so we cant call them these awful names. And what if they were anorexic or bulimic or depressed, its a MENTAL DISORDER its not like people who have anorexia or used to said one day " hmm i want to destroy my mental and physical health by starving myself senseless and exercising 24 hours a day". And what do you think would happen if a mentally unstable girl already starving herself came across a bunch of people she dosent even know calling her disgusting and sick and ugly. So do everyone a favor and don't jump to conclusions, there is a lot more to things, than what meets the eye.

Yes, this is an ad for a brothel filled with, dirty, anorexic, heroin addicts, wearing trashy lingerie. In no way does this video show anything wedding related. However, the music is amazing! I love that all of the credits below the video (director, stylist, models, etc...) go to the worst parts of the video, but nowhere can I find who made the music!

I enjoyed it. It did not give off a bridal sort of vibe, like, at all. But I was drawn in by the daunting aura, the elegant nature of the whole thing. Yes, they were very skinny and in no way do ANY of those women resemble me. But that fact doesn't draw any bitter feelings from me. I suppose the ones who do spout all the insults about it do feel some sort of personal attack. And if everyone feels the need to keep disregarding them as women, than that would be saying being a woman requires a certain weight. Which, last time I checked, it actually depends on your anatomy.

I'm 15 years old, this ad bothers me in several different ways. One of the obvious facts that how unhealthily in these women are. But I've gotten so used to that in media now, the main thing that concerns me now sadly, is that we are calling these wedding dresses now. The modeling industry makes no effort to change and how they show young girls like me what I should look like. But really being on the cover of magazine makes you considered "attractive". I don't find this to be true. Girls compare themselves to the women they seen on ads like this, simply because being a model makes you apparently "attractive", I don't find visible rib cages,and thigh gaps to be attractive at all.

This is a creepy ad. Almost haunting, and how the girl in the black dress (as well as the sudden addition of black accents to the other dresses) came in as a foil to the quite washed out white - bringing with it a strong aggressive feeling. It was very artistic and completely ignored the cliche romance ads; instead focusing on the dramatic. It felt like it told a story. I kind of loved it. I do agree that the models were way too skinny, but it added to the creepy factor. I don't care about fashion. I don't care for wedding dresses at this point. This made me pay attention anyway. Good video.

I was watching another video when this advert came on. I had to click on it and comment. I am not a medical Dr. nor a fashionista, but it does not take a trained professional to see that all of these ladies all have eating disorders...very ill. The model in the beginning with her back to the camera is practically a skeleton. I DO notice, however, Vera Wang and other designers eat very well off of their overpriced merchandise. What a shame...this industry really needs to change. :(

This is a frightening commercial on so many levels..... 1) made me feel like I was watching a sex trafficking ad 2) gaunt, sickly models who need care 3) sexual positions everywhere 4) women=sex objects 5) 0:50 contemplating suicide 6) 0:52 coming out of the womb 7) no wedding dresses or bridal outfits.
