Doug - this is a great organizational tool for beginning sketch noters. As always I love that you shared your thinking process.

Agree with comments about your podcast - it is great. And comments about your ‘behind the scenes’ approach - it is real, accessible, not too glossy that we can’t try it ourselves, gives permission. And the books - would love to know what’s in your collection and maybe a chance for you to share your process for sketchnoting some of the big ideas from a whole book.

Very clear explanation! I will use it with my students as I teach. It seems to me that will make them listen more in class.

I noticed that all other people who have commented have told you that what made this video great was that you showed part of the research, the thought process, and the drafting before the finished sketchnote. So, even if I know that what I'll say is not something you weren't already aware of, I'll say it anyway because I really liked this video and the behind-the-scenes parts of it. 😁 Great job.

I like how conceptualizing it as a menu encapsulates the idea. Thanks for sharing!

Loved the video... it also showed your own process of making sketchnotes... P.S. I love your podcast also i have been listening to it on my way to work and it helps in planning of my own future ventures. I see a lot of books in background, can you make a video or podcast episode about some of the recommended ones of those ?!

Thank you! Glad you're enjoying the podcast too :) And yes, I do plan to bring in some book recommendations (with a sketchnoted idea or two from each to pique your interest!) Thanks for the suggestion.

🙏🏻 thanks for sharing. Cool video. No need for ‘a more polished version’. The ‘unpolished’ version appeal is that it is genuine. We witnessed it being made. 👌🏻

Bruh why is everyone pretending this is gonna be useful in real life. How you gonna sketch note fast enough in a thirty minute lecture when it takes you 20 minutes to draw a picture. Not mentioning how distracted you're gonna be trying to make everything pretty cause you know you can't leave your sketches looking messy.
