If you hadn't have fermented under pressure initially, do you think there would have been even more esters from the Verdant? I've got a couple of 1 gallon batches on the go that use the Verdant so excited to see how they turn out. Another great video.

Any effects from letting the beer come to pitching temp overnight? Or just for convenience? Just used verdant in a triple IPA it was lovely
@DrHansBrewery
@DrHansBrewery 3 жыл бұрын
One effect is that you actually made a cold crash of the wort. Which would give you super clear wort. I dont really care about that though but some are. For me brewing no chill is just a convenience.

I am going to brew a SMaSH beer with Verdant instead of US-05 I think. I know the idea is to have a super clean beer but figured a little complexity won't hurt.

What attenuation did you get with Verdant? I couldn't get it over 70%
@Shreddah
@Shreddah 3 жыл бұрын
I have the same problem, which prompted me to ask Lallemand what the expected attenuation is for this yeast. They told me that the range is 74-82 %, and in their own trials it was on average 78 % !
