This whole performance from everyone is on fire - the Orange theatre itself seems to be charged with some kind of inspirational energy from the ages and draw the best out of the artists... Totally electrifying. And yes, as a Romanian I really do appreciate seeing and hearing Ludovic Spiess perform, and alongside Caballé, no less! She is out of this world. A huge thank you for this post!

Excellentissime version de concert avec La Splendide Caballé, Arkhipova excellente (même sans la touche de folie Cosetto ou Barbieri) et une belle performance du trop peu connu Ludovic Spiess. Un tout petit bémol pour Glossop, une voix trop basse à mon oreille pour le rôle du Comte, parfait toute de même dans le dernier acte.

​@@giovannab.7675 Montserrat Marti, daughter was born, November 15, 1972. Yes, Montserrat Caballe was very pregnant here. Notice how she does on occasion protect her support of her Montsita. Caballe was told she would not have anymore children, as she had a miscarriage. Miracle was upon she and her husband. Yet, Caballe had 2 cesarean deliveries followed with abdominal surgery. This wonderful woman held private the endless medical trials she lived humbly. Quite an extraordinary Diva of a very different dignity and humility. Funny, too. Her 2 children continue their lives, as their father, Bernabi, passed. The son son named after the father. May they both R.I.P. He was a successful tenor, before he stepped down. Their marriage followed after their falling in love performing Butterfly together. So, long ago, seems yesterday. Best to you.
