It always bothers me how people will criticize Bleach for Aizen always having a plan for everything, but to me it all makes sense. Aizen has all the pieces and information to make these plays. Both he and Kisuke are the only ones in the show who really think in abstract terms such that they see opportunities where others wouldn't see anything at all. "You are indeed the man I thought you were." Aizen has been sizing up Kisuke since the moment he debuted in that Captain's meeting, the show even focuses on the moment the gears start turning in Aizen's head. Aizen saw what Kisuke was doing with squad 12 (the whole research and development thing) and knew that if needed, he could totally frame Kisuke for the hollowfication experiments. The "if needed" part is important, because if Kisuke didn't show up, Aizen wouldn't have needed to frame him. Shinji and the others would've just been reported missing in what would be labeled an "unsolved mystery." Also, the way Central 46 treats Kisuke was totally foreshadowed by the fact Kisuke spent his time before Captain as a guard for people guilty of "thought-crime." The SS doesn't have due process, they'll hold people indefinitely without charges. This is Law and Order in the SS, it's one of its great failings that actually enables Aizen too, as we see in the SS Invasion Arc.

And this is why Soul Society never even attempted to pursue Urahara or Tessai in the human world, despite knowing exactly where he was for that century. His group and the Vizards represent 11 captain-level threats (eventually 13 with Isshin and Ichigo), some of whom fight well beyond that of most current captains, which would be a virtually impossible enemy to face without mobilizing a massive force. Also, remember that Urahara left Soul Society with the Hogekyu, and thus could have actually done what Aizen did in going to Heuco Mundo and started making Arrancar if he were so inclined. If he were actually guilty of what Central 46 accused him of, it would basically have been game over for Soul Society (imagine all the Vizard and Arrancar being on the same side, with the other exiles and Ichigo's group, being led by a Hogyuka-empowered Urahara).

@@kanji3791 Don't get wrong everything but the rain is good but backstory are things that basically answers questions of why something is happening and why some character are acting the way they did . But still turn back the pendulum is better because not only it makes us know many character like shuhei , gin , byakuya . But explain us visards , aizen's plan , gives us explaination about urahara and other characters relationship and many more . Everything but the rain also does most of it but it still has less than turn back the pendulum . Forgot the mention about the zero division and hikifune .

The closest thing to this maybe aot , but still most of it can already be known by many if they pay attention ( also the basement reveal can be considered a backstory ).

14:48 - I love how the animated how powerful an attack Tessai launced at Aizen. It really illustrated just how broken Aizen is when he so nonchanlantly dispatched it. It's always funny when people finally realize who Tessai is! 😂 Kisuke is really lucky to have a rider like Yoruichi on his side! What a great friend!

Agreed on the Kido, also the sound effect is so satisfying. Danku by Aizen, completely unfazed, is just as great. Kido in Bleach, especially the higher numbers, are really cool. There is more of that to come, like Itto Kaso and all the stuff from Hachi's fight.
