Gosh what a delight. I have always been in love with the way copper roofs on buildings develop that gorgeous patina as it ages. The Kremer in particular really evoked that for me. Although it did look like the London was putting up a little less of a fight. Thank you for posting this.

It's a finer version, and it's nice to see you noticed that in the process too!

Verdigris is zo mooi.

You know when you're struggling to open a bag of chips, then all of a sudden it just pops open, and the chips fly all over the place? I feel like that would be me trying to open that tiny bottle of pigment. What a beautiful color though! I do love green. 💚

oof that would be terrible with these pigments... haha they smell like vinegar

Thank you for showing us these Laurens, such an interesting historic colour, it is a sadness that it's properties don't match it's beauty.

Thank you! and it is..

Both of these are stunning! Reading some information on it, I can see why it's not offered everywhere. Is viridian the closest to it? I love viridian.... so many gorgeous mixes. Thank you for sharing Laurens, and sparking our curiosities about pigments! 🌻

Thank you! Viridian is a bit darker, I think a mix of transparent pigments would be best to replicate this (exact) hue

it's a very nice turquoise-like green. but it's probably better to just color match this one if it's not that stable to be used. and a bit toxic.

yup, a little less smelly too (the vinegar smell of it is quite undeniable)

I’ve always wanted to see this colour in real life and try painting with it despite its issues. Will you be selling it, do you think?

I'm looking into it, it's not stable enough for my regular line
