Dan, Bravo. You obviously learned from Roger Wagner's work. Beautiful job - one of the best things on KZbin. You prove that the confetti throwing by so many is unnecessary to get a beautiful result. You trained your recital chorus to think for themselves as they sing. Congratulations for choosing such a fine motet for your recital. I enjoyed your performance. Ed Palmer D.M.A.

our chorus did this song and it was hard as shit. We couldnt get the song right. Worst part was that were an HONORS chorus. But i mean, we only have like 3 rehearsals each year so-

What does "honors" chorus mean, please ? (I'm French)

@@adfontesaquarum an honors chorus is pretty much a chorus where you have to audition to join, and they choose the best students!

@@gink_ie Thank you... we had a little choir in our engineering school, where professors, students, employees and friends sang together. It did not count for obtaining your degree. There was no audition but there two weekly rehearsals, and the average musical level was very good. We enjoyed it and we could sing Palestrina Sicut Cervus in a few rehearsals.

It's a shame that such a good choir should sing such a sublime piece of music in such an acoustically dead space. Nothing like it would have sounded in a Spanish Cathedral or Roman Basilica. The voices did not mix well because of the poor acoustics and the lack of reverb removes one of the most beautiful subtle effects of choral music in a vibrant church.
