Bro that's awesome you got into metal detecting, I'm big into it myself. It's a great hobby, good excursive and nice to get out of the house. I don't know where you live, but if you have any historical areas by you, that'd be a good place to go. Also, construction sites are big, any where they're turning over dirt. If you have any friends or family with old houses that would let you hunt their house. You can also offer your services to others, put up some fliers or an ad in the paper or craigslist, offering to find any lost jewelry around their yard. Basketball courts are a good place, specifically behind the rim, as peoples rings can fly off when they shoot the ball. Parks, tables and benches. Ski resorts in the summer are massive troves. Beaches are another big one. Camping grounds and Schools are also good placed. There's so much lost money and loot out there for the taking just sitting underground. I'm a huge treasure hunter at heart. Anyways, best of luck on your finds!

Hey Verf, I'm wondering if it might be worth it to kill body golems to train your runecraft and crafting. Body cores drop at a rate of 1/7.5 and give 75 rc xp, and they have the best drop rate for gems in f2p. Getting a barronite mace would also speed up the kills by quite a bit

If you're really interested in detecting, i'd recommend looking at farmers fields to detect on. They've been used for a long time and all sorts of things fall from pockets and jackets. Just make sure you get permission.
