Someone else said this ^ Would this be okay or should this be done your way? Especially like for the Yamaha 535's with detergent or is hot water and no syringe and letting the machine do the work and just blowing it out with compressed air ok for those carbs bc I know the 535's have a lot of small tubes/orifices in it.

Compressed air is very dangerous. this can be used to compact loose dirt in bottlenecks. Look on our channel, there you will find instructions for correct cleaning in the ultrasonic bath.

@@vergaseronkel questions: when you say, 'this can be used to compact loose dirt in bottlenecks ' what do you mean? I watched the other video but still don't understand what you're saying. Can you explain for me please? Thanks 👍 Great video it makes sense to me using the syringe and hose like that. Have you ever noticed the difference if you didn't do that? And what should someone do if they got it cleaned by someone else who didn't do it that way or think the way I mentioned in the first comment is fine?? Not much but reclean??

@@vergaseronkel I have sent it off to someone who rebuilds and has been working on carbs etc.. for many years. So I'm kind afraid to ask bc I already mentioned it to him about your video and that's what he said but I know a cleaner and and doing it the way you do bc of all the small passage ways. It worries me bc I know the choke wasn't working and it was sitting for 18 years with gas lines cut. I was really hoping to get it done the way you do but I know he's in his 60's and set in his ways it seems and it gets gas in the diaphragm area it really needs to be cleaned.

@@vergaseronkel and he's showed me videos with carbs together not apart just in the ultrasonic tank filled high, where you take them completely apart. I don't know but I know he said he takes them all the way apart and examines everything and even does the bushings in the throttle shafts. It's seems like he does a very good job. But just seriously old school in cleaning or using chemicals.
