Nice video of this "forgotten" crossing. Too bad they removed it. If you are looking for others, I found some in and around the town of Beringen-Mijn in the Belgian province of Limburg. They were part of the coal mine that closed there over 30 years ago. Most of the railroad tracks are still there, as part of the Be-Mine Park that also houses a museum. There are abandoned crossings nearby in the "Laan op Vurten" and "Stationkaai" streets. There should still be signals present on the "Havenlaan" and "Olmenseweg" streets. At least, on Streetview of this year and no more than 2 years ago. A part of this line has double track. Other parts have a cycling path running next to it. There used to be a connection with railroad line 15 Antwerpen-Berchem - Mol - Hasselt.

maybe. i think it used to be a little railroad crossing for poeple following a path in that forest. they might have abondoned it (and removed it) beacuse it was rarely even used by poeple idk

not all crossing have gates. sometimes it is not required beacuse the chance of someone dying at that specific crossing is very rare (due to the location as example) but sometimes on places like busy roads. it is required
