What's funny is that the devs actually took canon strength into consideration when designing some of the characters, which is why Vergil's busted and Phoenix dies quickly before also becoming busted.

Forgot an important detail about Dark Angel: It leaves the opponent in crumple, allowing you to follow up, typically into High Time followed by Hyperdimension Slash.

I don’t think I ever said this in a comment but I love the CPS2 inspired transitions! Adds a lot of visual flavor to your videos compared to say your average run-of-the-mill analysis

Thanks! I really wanted to add some relevant visual flair instead of just doing crossfades/fade to black transitions, and homaging the Marvel Super Heroes/X-Men Vs Street Fighter screen transition was definitely within my admittedly meager editing skills. I'm really proud of how they turned out.

So fun fact, Vergil is technically playable in Teppen cause he is i believe a skin that you can randomly get for, which i find hilarious, Zero in which case his reskinned abilities and such are based on his DMC5 appearance which is very cool. this video is great, I always wanted to learn him but i always struggled with juggling hold commands for combos.

Ah, I haven't gotten around to trying TEPPEN for myself, that's interesting! And yeah, having some familiarity with Zero definitely helped me pick up Vergil, though I will say even with Round Trip (and its glitch) in mind, Vergil's not too execution intensive.

Vergil rivals Fox from his appearance in Smash Bros Melee as the most top tier character in a fighting game. Also, you forgot Vergil was playable as a skin to Zero in Teppen. It's optional to purchase him, hence why Vergil has yet to surpass the Great Paywall of China.

They added Megaman X, DMC1 Dante and even gave Vergil a DMC5 moveset. Maybe you can start a bonus/mini series regarding popular Capcom vs mods? Anyway, I was looking forward to this vid since I was at work. Looking forward to seeing more characters covered. I honestly did not know that the dev team actually tried getting a Nelo Angelo alt to work. I thought that they lazily just copy-pasted Dante's Sparda form. Thanks for that gem of knowledge!
