Vergleich Carbonbögen Violine ARCUS T4 und T5

Is this a comparison between the T4 and T5? For the sake of non-german viewers, can you please summarise your impressions of the two bow models and how they compare. Thx! :)

Sure. The T4 is a good bow for those who are trying an Arcus bow for the first time, a good bow for intermediate amateurs who are not too ambitious, and a good bow for advanced students. Not suitable for semi-professional or professional use. The stick moves a bit too much, and the sound is very clear, but with less overtones and color compared with the T5. The T5 is more than worth the surcharge. The difference is very clear, regarding handling and sound. The stick rests calmly in the hand, and the sound is colorful and direct. The low weight makes it easy to handle both bows, once you get accustomed to it. The T5 is a good bow for semi-professional or as second bow for professional use. Also an excellent choice for advanced amateurs, chamber music and orchestra playing. For solo performances, I still recommend at least the 6 or 7 series.

Muesing bows are a different conception. They are made more classically, although also lighter than common wooden bows. The Muesing C5 compares with nearly any master bow in the middle range that I have played so far (maybe not with old french master bows). The stick is awesome, and it gets the best possible sound out of the violin. I've had violins played with this bow and was surprised about the additional colors, overtones and projection that other bows did not deliver. So - the Muesing C5 is a clear recommendation.

5:50 "Ich bin ein Amateur-Musiker, wie man schon hört" Fishing for compliments, mein bester? ;) Schade, dass ich die feinen Nuancen über meine Laptop Lautsprecher nicht richtig hören kann. :( Aber ich glaube trotzdem auf's Wort, dass so ein feiner Bogen jeden Cent seines Geldes Wert ist.

Vordergründig vielleicht fishing, aber wenn man genau hinschaut sieht man den Cut. 5 völlig verkorkste Versuche des Sprungs in die 5. Lage musste ich leider herausschneiden ;-)
