Thank for this story. I know the story so well. I could have been a victim of his meat. He do act as a mad man but he was not mad. We stayed in Mafoluku then and I schooled in Command charity. His major victim killed are school children mostly command students who always trek. I could have be his victim; As this fateful day I was trekking to safe my my money. When I saw him, I pitied him as a mad man and I offered him my transportation fare… He didn’t collect the money I threw the money on the floor and he was looking at me,told me to come and I ran… 2 days later news spread that A mad man is a killer…and my mum was surprised of same man I told her yesterday… The man usually kill Command students. Students from other school and old people who trekked along that place when the place is silent. I remembered that I trekked that same place that week and the things found are scaring. Plenty bone legs, hands, dirty pots, women wig, Command Uniforms. He dug plenty holes under the bridge. Infact he usually cause terrible traffic in the early morning and people will say the mad man have started… using tyre to block the whole road… Am sure those early hours are when his buyers are coming for their goods… The fear of that bridge is the beginning of knowledge as I do have fresh memories of the incident anytime I passed that road. He sells the body part to those that are doing rituals or renewal of wealth, Politicians and eat the meat. I’m sure the man is not dead. May God help this Nation! May the souls of all he had killed rest in perfect peace Amen.

Thank you for this documentary. I’ve never heard of him before. However, I feel so terrible that people like these act at the expense of those have real mental illnesses. Schizophrenic people are highly vulnerable and are more likely to be victims of violence than are they themselves perpetrators. Unfortunately there is no law to protect them. They’re supposed to be taken to mental hospitals and taken care of instead of being left to roam the streets. Clifford Orji took advantage of this and decided to parade himself as a “mad man” whilst perpetuating evil. Up until this day, lots of schizophrenic patients are on the streets and the Government doesn’t think it’s important to take care of them. That also includes the people as we discriminate against them. Those people are sick, they need our help. We need more mental health awareness. PS: Nigerian politicians have robbed us all of our livelihoods, rights and justice. It’s really sad.

Why for the love of brotherhood and mankind would you bring this to the door steps of America. When the slaves were sold, it started in Africa. People of their tribes sold family members for money. Now if you have witnessed any other horrible thing outside of slavery and the Holocaust !!! Please make it known. We were separated from our family line four or five times until, now only with DNA we are trying to re- connect. So if you feel you did not get enough money at the sale of your family members. I am sorry for you. When you come to America and we are happy to meet a brother with the same skin color. YOU look down your nose at us !!! If you had to endure what we had to endure and still do, your greeting would be a sincere one. Even centuries after the unspeakable happened, you blame someone else. You thru the stone and hit us on the head. Now you want to blame us. America is not a perfect place but neither is Africa. Put on our shoes and walk a couple of decades. Then tell me how you feel. I pray that God will open the eyes of your understanding. I pray for the family of the victims. That they may get closure and Peace. I PRAY FOR SALVATION MOST OF ALL. To know the Saviour and his shed blood gives us what no other can do. Jesus Christ was crucified on Calvary. His shed blood restored us to God the Father when he died on Calvary. In three days he rose from the dead, went to hell and took the keys from Satan. He arose with all power in his hands. He is now sitting on the throne with God the Father.

I remember this story vividly and to be sincere the thought of this event has come to stay in my head. It's so difficult to forget as I always find myself imagining the gruesome scenario over and over again. In those days the story went viral I was based in Zaria Karina state back then and calendars of "man eat man" sold alot. I also saw calendars of people who turned vultures in their quest for wealth

That vulture story was indeed real. My now neigbour said he worked with the man in the same place. Evil has been happening. Just that there was no means to put it out for the world to see then unlike now. Social media is the only difference i see

I remember Clifford orji. Its only in nigeria that they would have a check with an account number and entity right in front of them and they would say that they have no clue whose account it is. Most likely their boss or their bosses friend or someone in the same cult as their boss. Very sorry situation

Or the check and phone could belong to a victim. So even if there was a name on the check, the person could have easily pleaded being attacked once or they sent someone with the check. I am unsure if the check had Cliffored's name on it but the heads connects the rich guys theory as well.

The moment I heard, he tried to run away when he saw a crowd in front of his shed. I knew he wasn’t crazy besides that he could have killed someone rich, he could have found the items on the street and so on. I know he didn’t but he could have. And my people because of the way the world is, I don’t want to know how many times I ate „meat“ outside.
