@chinezyxx I think the original design (from January) had Tegra 2, but they went with a TI OMAP4430 1GHz dual-core processor for the final product...

Thank you very much for the help and the main debate is between which one i wanted between the two droids and the nexus prime? Are there any other phones coming out for the holidays that are suppose to be off the chart?
@SmartKeitai12 жыл бұрын
Yep, Bionic definitely has Gorilla Glass. I would go with the Droid Razr Maxx (the one with huge battery life).

@SmartKeitai you bring up a very good point, im leaning towards the bionic now, i seen the razr and i was very surprised that it was wide and long, being that one of these droid phones is gonna be my first smart phone i guess thats why im not used to there size, im not gonna lie the razr is a really really nice phone so between bionic and razr which is the better phone? your helping alot thanks =)
@SmartKeitai13 жыл бұрын
@Racinglgnd Bionic, unless you really like physical keyboards. Bionic has more RAM, a slightly larger screen, and supports Verizon's 4G LTE network.
@SmartKeitai13 жыл бұрын
@bcblls Between those two, I would go with Bionic. You may not have 4G LTE in your area now, but Verizon pushes out more markets on a monthly basis (good for traveling too). Plus, it has more RAM and looks nicer IMO. Motorola also confirmed the Bionic will get updated to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich (no conf for X2). Bionic has much bigger battery, so should last longer, especially if you turn 4G off. That being said, why not get the Droid RAZR, HTC Rezound or upcoming Galaxy Nexus?

@AronHan You're right! Not sure why the X2's 4.3" screen slipped my mind... Motorola overload I suppose. Thanks! :)

@bcblls Ahh, exciting times then since this will be your first smartphone. The Bionic and RAZR are both wide. I guess you have to figure out if you want less wide or a lot thinner. Also should consider the displays (LCD vs Super AMOLED). I think most would get the RAZR over Bionic because it's newer/thinner. I actually just unboxed the DROID RAZR moments ago. Liking the thinness so far, seems pretty fast. You should probably go into a VZW store and take a good look at the screens and hold both.

I still prefer the razor but the bionic seems pretty nice compared to a lot of the other smart phones.

@psalguero20 Yeah, confirmed it's only VGA via camera settings.

@bcblls The wideness doesn't bother me, so I'd probably go with he RAZR. I just got it in for review, so I'll have to see if my opinion changes in a week or two. If the Galaxy Nexus was included in that list, I'd go with that. The big downside of Motorola phones is the UI. it's improved a lot, but it's still resource intensive. That's why people like Nexus phones - because they're stock Android, plus Google supports their flagship Nexus phones with updates much longer. Good luck picking!

@silfner1 Nope, if you're paying for data it covers 3G and 4G devices...

@bcblls13 жыл бұрын
@SmartKeitai yeah im very excited thats why its soo hard to choose i want my first smart phone to be perfect and i wanna make sure im happy with it thats why im doing my research before i make up my mind, yeah i did that last weekend thats when i was surprised of the wideness of the razr and now that i think about it the bionic wasnt that big, so for some reason the bionic is in the lead, wow thats a deal! but im currently a verizon customer i can only upgrade with a discount

PLEASE I NEED AN ANSWER, what mobile to get the next week? I still don't know what to choose, but am kinda convinced with the Driod Razr, I'd like to get maxx version but unfortunately we don't have it here in my country. so is the Driod razr good? or you think I should any other one? PLEASE SOME FEEDBACK.. Thanks
@SmartKeitai13 жыл бұрын
@bcblls Oh and if you're new to Verizon, you should buy the phone from Amazon Wireless this weekend. All Verizon phones are a penny for new customers (with two year contracts). If you're paying regular price, you really should consider the Galaxy Nexus, which will be out next month. Any reason for not getting that one? Don't like Samsung or the design?

@WolfGangBiggestFan First, decide if you prefer Android or iOS, that will allow you to either eliminate the iPhone or go with it. If you go with Android & you have LTE in your area, then I would go with the Bionic. It has a slightly larger screen, more RAM & LTE (watch our LTE speed test vid). Having a physical keyboard is nice, but the Bionic's screen is so large that typing isn't as bad as it used to be with smaller displays. Honestly, I'd wait for Nexus Prime - announcement on Oct. 11 :)
