Those batwing shredder secondary shafts are about to go flying! Really neat seeing the inside of the bale chamber. I'm waiting on delivery of a used 504 Super I and this is all great information. I'll definitely check those cam rollers (they were bad on my square baler, too).

I have the same baler but when the chamber is empty the belts don’t turn until you start feeding in hay. Can you tell me why? I know it ain’t right I just don’t know what the problem is

on the bottom of the tailgate there is a roller with adjustment bolts. one on each side of the door. you can adjust them to tighten the belts.make sure you go even or the belts will crawl to one side or the other. try that and let me know if that fixes it.
