So did I miss where you said how to tighten the chain. I see how to take it apart and to loosen the three bolts and one allen but I missed how to tighten the chain.

Yes hi I videod that part but it didn't record.will fix that...just look under machine at hydraulic drive motor...There is a lock nut and bolt. Loosen nut and use bolt to push drive motor to front of machine.This will tighten chian.

Hi to tighten chian,under machine at back of wheel there is a lock bolt and nut...buy hydraulic drive motor. Unlosen nut at using bolt move motor to front of machine until desired thitness, then lock nut.Thanks.

Russ my friend Let me tell you something Your gonna have a bird Or something like that Check this out I’m pretty sure the reason that one Allen head bolt is 5/16 / 8mm is so you can sneak a wrench in there from the bottom without removing the wheel to adjust the chain. This is how I do it. You need to have the just right length head on the wrench to sneak it in there. The one I use is a “wera” brand Allen wrench, it just make it in there, sticks out far enough for me to get another wrench on it if I need to.

@@RussToronto anytime Russ. Glad to help anyone if I’m in the know. Yeah, you just leave both wheels in neutral and flip the lever with the motor on back and forth till you get the middle of two teeth lined up so you can sneak that Allen wrench in there. Then on the others Im careful now not to really crank em down so I can use the open end and not remove the drive gear like you did(which I did do the first time to get them loose). These days it’s a 10 or 20 min job, usually. Do it a couple times a year, I don’t like having much slack. The less bounce I have the morning productive I am. Happy Grinding 252 brother!
