And Ye business unko karna chahiye jinke pas background Farming related ho incase nhi aaya order to Personal use kiya jaa sakta hai to usse wo kabhi nuksan me nhi jaege at the end field me ja rha hai or khud ko result dikhege to kacche gobar ki bajae vermicompost use karne lag jaege. Sad to hear your experience with Vermi Compost. Am a Vermi Compost farmer for the past few years, just like you - am too from the town, Ranchi and my Farm is about 20+ kms away, I travel every day and it is very tiring. However, the excitement of farming is still keeping me motivated and am pushing the limits to keep going on. Am able to sell Vermi Compost at 7 Rs+ per kg and being in the farming zone, am able to sell easily. My challenges are expensive cowdung which costs at Rs 3500+ per trolley and less availability of labour as most people are into farming and they don't want to work for us. We aren't making a lot of money from Vermi Composting but we are able to run our unit at profit or at least we are recovering our costs.

Its great that you are genuinely interested in working for the environment and your efforts are commendable! Rest for the sole purpose of business, vermicomposting is not a good option.

I have hardly seen video where people show video of farmer who have used vermicompost and fym and what is difference . Cause if there is no differance then why someone will buy again and again . So before production think of demand and what problem u r going to solve with your business. Production is a process which can be learn over the period of time . Do your analysis based on location where u r going to set up unit. You tube video are good source of information but we need to process that information before consuming it and making our decision.

Exactly! Thats the whole purpose of making these videos. If i have fallen into trap, i hope others take lesson from this. Before jumping into this business, one must be aware about all possible challenges & drawbacks. Also, i would like to clarify that vermicompost as a business model is very challenging but AS A PRODUCT, its Fantastic! We personally use only vermicompost in our farming process & are getting great results.

मैं बांसवाड़ा (राजस्थान) से हूं, मैने ये काम करने के लिए केंचुए आपसे ही खरीदे थे, यहां पर खाद की कीमत भी सही मिल रही है लेकिन मार्केट में उतनी डिमांड ही नही है कि मंथली एक अच्छा प्रॉफिट हो सके। मेरे हिसाब से ये काम वो लोग काफी अच्छे से कर सकते है जो पहले से ही खेती का कार्य कर रहे हो।

Manoj ji, i did all the necessary study before investing in this business but the reality hits different when you actually practically do the business. Also, I mentioned challenges that we faced, labor dealing is one of them. Even if you learn to deal, its still challenging and tiring as people who regularly deal with labor would agree.

Good afternoon ma'am. I am Rambir Ghamandayan from Bahadurgarh. After retirement from IAF I have also set up a plant of Vermicompost this year in May itself. My brand name is VedicGrow ADDS LIFE. I am also facing the same issues. Nursery owners want at the cheapest rate and on credit. Now I have started to avoid them and directly goes to Schools, Organic Farmers, Vatikas etc. I am getting good response. I have learnt one lesson that we should not invest our full amount. In setting up we do expenditure maximum. We should have a balance amount for purchasing cow dung/labour charges. We should have backup amount. I pay labour charges and raw material cost from my pension. I am hopeful that people will understand the importance of organic products for their own health. Farmers will understand the importance of Organic Vermicompost for their agricultural land. Our land is becoming barren due to the use of excessive chemical fertilizers. I request you ma'am, please don't lose hope, you will surely get success in this field only. In our country, honest people get sure success. You are straight forward and you have told the truth, but you will get success in this field. For our Developed Bharat we have to use Organic products for future generations.
