I've had worms for many years, I juice so I give them the fiber and I get so many worms it gets crazy.

WHAT is the sientific name for Ga red wigglers? Worms do have mouths, they breath through thier skin with moisture. They will eat citrus but that is not good for castings. The citrus has anti microbial properties which is not what you want in castings.

Another good thing between worms and cattle is there's no slaughter. One can do even worm farming indoors in limited spaces. This makes it even more accessible to the masses.

So, do you buy groceries for worms? Surely you don’t have that much garbage. Please do more videos. This has been very interesting. I want as normal as possible.

If you garden you do

No, there are a lot of scraps from gardening, as well as having local grocery produce departments hold back outdated items for you. Thanks for the encouragement to do more videos - we will!

Well said.

@@DirtFarmerJay My yard is full of wonderful worms. Probably not those red ones, but good fishing worms. I love them and have seen in past two years a decrease, which makes me wonder what the chemtrails are doing. Every time it rained,in the past, they were everywhere. Now I have to dig to see them. I love what you are doing.

ok so does he sell the castings or use them himself?

What’s it matter?

He does sell some, but uses most of them for amending the soil in his veggie beds.

Red wigglers do have tiny mouths, but no teeth. They suck/slurp micro-organisms from the decaying veg food & bedding matter via the wet goo from the decomp process.

So it's better to blend the food scraps.
@flatsville93436 ай бұрын
@hiddysonday435 Blended food scraps may decay a bit faster by producing microorganisms a bit faster. You may risk too much "liquid" at once by dumping blended food unless you add some dry bedding. No matter how small you make the food, the worms don't eat it. They eat the biota the decomp process produces. They might slurp up a microscopic sized damaged cell wall on occasion at best.
