Hi Si and Dave, waiting for your new videos to come. Long time no videos. I really like your videos, the intro music, shootings everything. Still watching your old videos

Si , great video. VHTV is one of my favorites. Glad to see you're still at it..... I was a little worried..... your " infamy " with the PETA types made it all the way across the pond = ) .
@ryanmackin83466 жыл бұрын
Most people here in the US give zero shts about what PETA thinks. Good job guys and interesting night vision setups you have there.

Hey Si. Been watching your channel for a few weeks now, fantastic viewing. From where do you hail? You sound like a Yorkshire man to me lol. I’m thinking of buying an air rifle if I survive the cancer that I’ve just been diagnosed with! Loved the sport when I was a youngster. I’m in Sheffield so if you can recommend a shooting club, that would be a great start.

Hi, I'm aware this video is from 2017 but perchance you might still see the comments and respond, I'm wondering if you fellows in the UK are permitted to have firearms other than air guns. I'm in the US. I really enjoy watching your videos and have watched many of them, great work!!

Great shooting. Si, is that the new Brocock Compatto Target with the regulator? I received mine about 2 weeks ago so I'm still getting to know the rifle, but I'm really enjoying it.
@VerminHuntersTV7 жыл бұрын
Richard Lowthian no this is my standard one. I'm in the process of filming with the new one for its review. The new one shoots Bisley Magnums 4.50 mm like a laser beam.
@ral4467 жыл бұрын
Mine is the 5.5 mm. Do you have any pellet recommendations for that cal? So far I've had the best success with the JSB 15.89 gr. but I think there is something out there that will do better.
@VerminHuntersTV7 жыл бұрын
Yes try RWS Super Field.
@ral4467 жыл бұрын
Thanks Si. I'll order some.
@markhomer97187 жыл бұрын
Richard Lowthian Try " FX " own pellets ( 16grn ) made by JSB , but selected or something that sets them apart . Downside is there hard too get hold of & at £19 a tin , expensive .. but they are extremely accurate ..

Hi Si. Can you tell me if you still own the walther lgv competition ultra you bought from Tony Wall?
@VerminHuntersTV7 жыл бұрын
Spooky no it was sold.
@spooky49857 жыл бұрын
Hi again Si. Can you tell me if the serial number on it was BJ005763? I bought this gun as the one that you had previously owned and had tuned by Tony Wall. Tony has denied ever tuning a LGV competition ultra so I am suspicious.

Out of curiosity, how to the property owner reimburse you, is it per unit, hour, weight? I haven't subbed yet but I plan on it before this video is over. I enjoy watching your marksmanship, it's great. I lost my right eye to 'toxoplasmosis', so I have to change all my equipment to 'left hand'. I can't afford to make that plunge. Thank's for sharing.

Do the rabbits make it to the plate?
@josephcuratolo56067 жыл бұрын
I would use one of those grabber devices to pick them up. They usually carry fleas and can be dieased.
@VerminHuntersTV7 жыл бұрын
Joseph Curatolo good advice.
@gasixteenb117 жыл бұрын
VerminHuntersTV actually those rats were told of your presence by their security pest and they immediately started hustling to get out....lol. by the way I understand clearly but there is no need for the humane etc because this method is far better than the use of poisoning. With that high level of infestation please utilize safety equipment like foot baths to sanitize your boots etc.
@aiferapple12467 жыл бұрын
Yeah, I'd say a grabber and a bucket. If your wearing surgical gloves, please be aware that your still handling your torch etc with those gloves
@DoomWar16 жыл бұрын
Fleas jump very very high. With a grabber, a flea can still easily jump onto your skin or your clothes.

Don't usually like to watch shooting rats but you guys make it worth watching. Great shooting and video. That first rabbit had his eyes bulging out. Was it shot between the eyes on the forehead?
@VerminHuntersTV7 жыл бұрын
No from the back of its head diagonally across its head Len.
@lensman57627 жыл бұрын
The pellet must have dumped all its energy into its poor head. Good kill.
@VerminHuntersTV7 жыл бұрын
Yep that's what it did pal. Them heavy pellets don't half hit hard and kill quickly. No suffering with Magnums pal.
@greedygringoprospecting69417 жыл бұрын
do the pistols have a power control like I have 2 beeman P1 pistols scope and open sights it will drop rats ,rabbits ,pigeons pretty powerful pistol I know the rifles are under 12 ft/lbs or you have to have a FAC
@VerminHuntersTV7 жыл бұрын
kenny cadarett yes they have to be under 6 foot pounds but most are 3 or 4.

@dockmasterted6 жыл бұрын
I usually use a tripod of shooting sticks to steady my aim, I find it better than using fence posts or farm equipment, because you get the same shoot every time, and I use the tongs for picking up rats for the same reason Joe Curatolo does.
@neilgilbert76727 жыл бұрын
exelent as always Simon do you think we will need to licence are airguns be four long don't look good does it
@VerminHuntersTV7 жыл бұрын
Yes i do mate.
@ryanmackin83466 жыл бұрын
I'm sorry you guys have to jump through licensing hoops. Here, all air guns aren't considered firearms and thus are pretty much unregulated. Suppressors and full auto for all!

Why do you need a licence to shoot rats?
@VerminHuntersTV7 жыл бұрын
totenkopf999 we have a free license in the UK for vermin that we are allowed to shoot with a air rifle and other higher power rifles.
@mimic586 жыл бұрын
what license is that? - I cant find any reference to one for rats / rabbits & greys - just a general license for birds.
