I don’t think so. The reload time is still bad and there are only 3 of them.

I didn't know that, still I take the Throwing Axes anyway. Because its more versatile having something to kill specials and even elites from range. Plus the Hunter trait is a nice damage boost even for your melee attacks(well only against the armor class it triggered on but still)

I think so. It's damage is super high and can help your team snipe elites that are otherwise unavailable to you.

What is your opinion on Throwing Axes with "Replenish ammo on headshot" trait? I personally like having the option for a quick range kill when I`m a bit away from the rest of the group and I see a Packmaster coming (I suck at dodging the hook so I`d rather shoot the bastard). Or to shoot down an assassin midjump. Also, what do you think about Briar Javelin on Shade (same trait)? Lastly, would you recommend Griffon Foot pistols on Zelot? And should I stick with flail on zelot or try another melee weapon? Thanks!

In my opinion throwing axes are always garbage on slayer. Decent enough for monsters with rv, but not much else. Javelins are great with that trait on any elf, but definitely shade. The pistols are pretty solid on zealot, but you’ll run out of ammo quick. Might be worth bringing scrounger and smite. Flail is also a solid weapon on him, but try some others! Billhook, dual hammers, hgh, axe and falchion are all really good.
