Awesome. Love the Perfourmer---just need to actually get one. Nice job.

Thank you! It's not easy to find a Perfourmer - chase the B-stock or display units at smaller synth shops. It took me almost a year to find a seller.

Very nice performance and a clever setup for the Perfourmer. Such a great maschine. I also got finally my hands on a version including CV in. So much to discover...

Thanks for the kind words. Two things that opened it up for me - understanding midi channel assignment on the Perfourmer and using separate voice outputs to run through different fx.

I've noticed that you have the Analog Rytm in your studio and here you decided to use only TR6s. Can you tell me what do you thing about this little machine? Do you find it useful? Is the lack of individual outs a huge problem?
@EugenBoico2 жыл бұрын
Awesome question. The truth is I love my toys and I have a couple of drum machines I love for different reasons. I think TR6S is very immediate and it sounds authentic from get go. I do miss a separate output for the BD at least as this would allow me sidechaining plus I prefer my BD on a separate track while recording. Having this said, if you look for a core drum machine in your studio, AR is the way to go. But, if you can afford one more compact drum machine for experiments and travel, TR6S is an amazing choice.

This is unbelievable and unfortunately, it really makes me realise what a mistake it was to never learn the piano...
@EugenBoico2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the kind words and… it is really never too late. To be honest I have a very vague idea how are the chords I play called. I have about 10 chords I adore and matching bass notes I frequently noodle with. Some sequences stand out and turn into tracks. So, get yourself a keyboard, probably something with e-piano tones (yamaha reface cp for example) as they are the least tiring and have yourself some happy noodling. Maybe learn the chords to your favourite songs and soon you’ll be making harmonies of your own. 🙌
