Fun dokapon fact did you know that some darkling spells can miss if you have high enough speed Some of them are essentially just field magic meaning if you have really high speed they can miss (by high speed I mean magic medicine + overlords crown one of which you need to kill a darkling to get

There's an entire series of Dokapon games, but a majority of them are exclusive to Japan afaik. Kingdom was pretty much the only game to make its way over to the west, and got enough of a cult following to justify a port to modern consoles (hence, we got Kingdom Connect)

Something that’s very important to success in this game is to not ignore speed because it contributes to the damage and resistance of strike constitutes the accuracy of physical attacks and strike and field magic(field magic damage is magic based) as well as increasing dodge chance It is ineffective against battle magic because that can’t be dodged without the use of decoy which dodges all attacks 50% of the time

Certain enemies in this game have a mechanic where they auto counter and can’t have dedicated one shots used on them(deadly dagger still works) this includes story bosses but it also includes things such as wabbits strangely enough as well as darklings which can have their actions overwritten if they have strike used on them being forced to counter

Something I learned about dokapon ai when it comes to banish is they tend to always use it It’s not guaranteed but it’s so common and banish as an attack is so weak that it’s worth to use m guard against any enemy that has it every turn Edit: banish kills 100% of the time unless you use m guard in which case it works 0% of the time
