Take junction 36 on the m6. Get onto the A590 and keep going until you drop into the sea, you can't miss it. Fishes better after strong Westerly, after dark, September - November is best.

Yes walney is great to fish free parking walk straight onto beach and you are away just watch the tides and pick a good sea state to fish as when i am always up there are rollers galore. Thanks for coment.

Just seen your Walney Island vid, I live on Walney and fish it regularly 'off the front' '. You're fishing in the wrong place. Head about half a mile south, there is a big car park known locally as Thorney nook, drop down onto the beach there and fish it after dark September-November, preferably after a blow and you should do OK. Mackrell and Lug Worm cocktail works best.

yes reel is good has pulled in lots of heavy weed rod bent over good first reel or for a spare has not let me down always take it to the river humber as a spare because i now fish penn 750 lc spinfisher reels.

Yes i believe so they do have local competions , a good steep beach so when tide is in plenty of depth to the water.

I have two and they are cracking rods even loaded up with 5kg of seaweed as i had in Norfolk in May, I thought this was a good fish or weed, it was weed but the rod pulled it in . Good caster when timing is spot on.
