Angelina A I dunno, I am a _hOmE cOoK_ but some ways to make this recipe a little better would be seasoning the chicken (using chicken thighs would add a nice flavour) then removing them from the pan once golden brown and sauté the onions in the left over chicken fat and olive oil (you don’t need a lot of olive oil). You can deglaze the pan with a couple splashed of white wine (I don’t think I’ve ever seen someone boil chicken and onions in wine - but that is me) then add your chicken broth - bring to a boil and add noodles. For the best results - don’t use as much cheese and grate your own parmesan. Traditional Alfredo is composed of garlic, cream and parmesan with cracked pepper - or at least, from the recipes I have seen. I mean, she didn’t do terribly, she put too much cheese in it which I would have added a little more moisture in it because it can make the sauce feel drier. I would also spice it throughout the dish and it definitely needs garlic. I also don’t understand why she added the egg since the egg usually helps thicken the sauce. But, yeah, this is an Italian inspired dish, so she could have added other spices like thyme is my favourite in macaroni and cheese. Another thing would be cleaning the spoon after cooking the chicken. That is really poor sanitation.

Angelina A how does that monstrosity of cheese even come close to looking appetizing...an authentic alfredo is a sauce not a glob of cheese...you put some cheese in it because it’s a cheese sauce but she put 3 times as much shredded cheese in it than the wet ingredients when it should be a l:2 ratio of cheese to wet ingredients to make a proper alfredo sauce....you can tell she didn’t like it which is why she didn’t eat a lot of it...she used being full and saving the rest for her husband as a cover up for wanting to throw it away

When you cook your chicken then after you cook then you transfer it a plate still using the same utensil. It means you are eating salmonella too coz’ you used same utensils. No, right?
