Geez, after Ralf plays two balls the other player must seem like they've set out for four games. This is EXACTLY why shot clocks were brought into being, and watching this, I am glad that they were.

Lots of issues with pool and slow play is for sure one of them. Such a great game that has no international leadership as far as marketing the sport. Really frustrating to see these great players play in front of small crowds and for peanuts compared to golfers, tennis players, and others. Rules need to be changed and the game needs to be promoted much more to the younger generations.

@@jamesdavis8731 I agree. They tried to do just that, make a more interesting and involving game, with Bonus Ball. It didn't take off though, unfortunately. I thought it was a great game, and I asked one top pro that played it how he liked it. His response was that it was his second favorite game, after one pocket. It was one of the Justins. :-) It IS a great game, and needs to be promoted better. Matchroom is one group trying to do that. Obviously there are several others, Accustat, etc. I don't have a clue what the right answer is, but I wish somebody would come up with it and make it work.

Souquet is by far the most boring players of all times,him and Justin Bergman.Thats why clock are a must,watching these 2 walking snoozefest players taking 2 hours to play shouldnt be allowed and thats why pool isnt popular anymore.

Something wrong with these videos. The commentary keeps getting out of sync with the action for me. As far as the match, slow play is the bane of pool as a sport. We sit here watching them stand around and think, take a stroll around the table, think some more, point to stuff, try one position, try another, think a bit more, and finally take an absolutely ordinary shot that was perfectly obvious right from the start. I think Matchroom is going to have to start editing the videos to cut out all the dead time. It’s like watching paint dry. I’d rather see longer matches with a lot of the dead time cut out. There’s no other way to speed things up.

ASs you can see the nine balls comes to a stop because of the overlay they use to rack the balls... why is this used in pro format ? the 9 ball would of continued rolled further had it not been caught up in the rack they use
