ive seen enough of these to know theyre never consistent. some days its DB is the winner by a landslide, some days its ysl , some days its sauvage, some days its bleu de chanel , shit some days its even acqua di gio or prada ocean/carbon beating out all these guys... the reality is theyre all equally good as one another, and an equal amount of women prefer all of them. so people should just try them all get the one they personally like.

@@teamskdm1 well we have to keep in mind that street tests are done to 10,20,30 people tops. If someone published a poll in a journal with that few participants it'd be laughable-the sample is just too small. It's interesting for example how in Hamza's La Marina tournament YSL L'homme Le parfum was a clear winner beating, kinda easily, all designer and niche freshies. However, it has below 4,00 at fragrantica, meaning it's not seen as great. Fragrances, just like clothes or haircuts aren't always liked by everyone, it depends on the taste of the (few) people asked. In some of these test, if Hamza ended them earlier the outcome would have been the opposite. It stand to reason if he went on to 50,100, 200 votes we wouldn't have the same results as when he asks 25 people. A basketball game isn't won always by the team winning the first quarter and even the champions may have lost more games in the season than the 2nd best team.

Right. It kinda smells like axe to me, but women act like it's catnip to them. Dylan Blue and Yedp are tied in terms of compliment factor for me (when I used to wear those) but in my experience it's was mainly dudes wanting to no what I had on with Y edp. Girls liked it too, but I seemed to attract more male attention. Meanwhile, no guys really liked Dylan blue or ever gave me a compliment with it (even I dont think it's all that), but young and old women just love it... I personally like bdc edp better than Dylan blue and about equal with Y edp, but bdc doesn't even come close to either in terms of compliment factor. I can sorta see why it can't compete with Y edp, but I'm still trying to figure out what it is with Dylan blue that woman love so much.

Not even exaggerating, I smell Y more than I smell bdc and sauvage combined. I honestly don't be smelling sauvage like ppl claim everyone is wearing it, and I never smelled bdc on anyone at all. I just dont wear Y anymore but it's a great fragrance, especially for a younger man. It's has that typical, youthful, fruity "college athlete / high-school Jock / Fuckboy / fratboy" kinda smell. I say it's a "bro fragrance" cause in my experience of wearing it, dudes would wanna know what it was so bad.

Oh, that was a great battle of some top10 most popular fragrances. I use both often I prefer the opening of Y EDP and the drydown of Dylan Blue. It's interesting how Versace pour homme defeated Dylan Blue yet Dylan blue usually does great in such battles.

They’re both inoffensive in my opinion. YSL Y EDP is lighter but a tad sweet due to the apple. It’s also a bit screechy on the dry down due to the ambroxan. Dylan Blue is your typical blue fragrance, very similar to Bleu De Chanel EDP but without the subtlety. I would pick YSL Y EDP because it doesn’t have the typical cologne smell like Dylan Blue.

@@alp1957 If you want the best bang for the buck, try Rasasi Hawas for day and Afnan 9pm for night. Dylan Blue vs YSL Y I have received more compliments wearing YSL Y. The scent is more memorable, but Dylan Blue is also good. I think it has a more basic, but also slightly more masculine smell. If you want something a bit like Blue de Chanel, but for lower price Afnan 9am Dive is also an option. Its NOT a clone, but rather a sweeter, younger version of it with some elements from YSL Y in it. Its a bit leaning unisex though.
