I remember the time when some brazilian girls imitated the walk of Gisele back in the 90s. But now I have the feeling the majority of the new girls walk all the same walk. I dont understand whats the point of not showing their personal and unique walk. just look in yt at fendi 1999, all with their own natural walks: kirsten owen, amy wesson, esther canadas, alek wek, jade parfitt, naomi, etc. an ultimate pleasure to watch.

well blame it on the fashion show coordinators and designers i guess the fact they made the runways stage more fabulous than the models walk. thats what make its more model who walk in the runways just doesnt put an art on it cause the choreography of fashion shows nowadays its just boring and no grace.... if you can see they just walk so fast in a hurry and hard for an audience to focus on their clothing pieces cause the fashion show runs so fast compare to the 90s and even in the golden age of fashion show models walk and take a pose and give clothes justice.... now seems like the agency doesnt care if the model can walk as long as its skinny and the sick look is what sells on the runways

you can't ignore looking and appreciating the models in a Versace show. they have always got the fierce look. they are not just hangers but have a personality too. unlike other houses where models are just told to walk like zombies. the clothes look the same like the last season with deep slits and mid riff show but that does not mean they are less sexy. love the hair color coordination with the outfits.

versace has changed, even donatella said it has. she said it's gone from a private company to more of a public one. it's more commercial. so the clothes on the runway have to be more wearable as opposed to fantasy. some houses do really avant gard runway shows but versace is different. people actually wear versace clothes. so the runway shows have to show things you can actually wear. you're not realistically going to wear some extravagant crazy outfit with bird wings and reflective mirror pieces. donatella's always had the customer in mind, and she has said as a woman designer she knows more about what women want to wear, and that men designers often go for fantasy cuz they don't have an idea of what it's like to wear it. so yes, every piece in the collection is definitely wearable. as are all of her collections. she's thinking about what will actually be worn, not what's going to be outrageous. plus i honestly like donatella's designs better than gianni. i thought gianni's designs were gaudy and almost clown looking. and i find versace more versatile than chanel, which every collection looks exactly the same. you can't even tell the difference between chanel's collections cuz they're all just gray tweed. so stop being dramatic.

i think donatella is putting more of her efforts in atelier versace than in RTW she made her RTW more commercial and less Hollywood nowadays gone is the style of sex drugs and rock in roll in versace ready to wear collection and introduce more streetwear style and more accessible to the masses... while she keep her atelier or haute couture collection on its true versace DNA though they make the show less fancy and make it more private

First off - whoever filmed this deserves to be fired. The camera was all over the place. I think versace is starting to embrace the streetwear vibe as most brands are this year.
