in the cooler climates the dry down is amazing. but in a hot country it is a bit more challenging to wear. luckily for me i live in London and this is perfect.

You've got this one totally wrong. Versace L' Homme, even the reformulation, is still one of the top ten of my massive collection. I love it and I have gotten many compliments on it. You are correct about wearing it on hot days, but the solution to that is spraying your shirt only, not the skin. This is a strong powerhouse that must be worn strategically for it to work, just like Aramis, Yatagan, Kouros, etc. Still love your reviews though. You are spot on, 99.999% of the time. (lol )

I actually picked up as a blind buy. Opening is like Lysol, but love how it evolves. Last all day and night. Definitely mature. Mature scent for sure man

I wear the reformulated L’Homme, and it’s definitely an old school smell. For me it has a citrusy opening, then it goes to smelling like rose hips, and then turns to woodsy and patchouli. You may get compliments, but it may be from a more mature crowd. The opening note to the final stage vary widely, so the seasonal identity is a bit strange.

I prefer versace l'homme over dior eau sauvage edt all day. This scent profile i usually dont appreciate but to me this is johnny versaces masterpiece. This and the dreamer are my two absolute favorite versace frags. The new eros or eros flame are a joke compared to l'homme. Johnny versace bravo to the quality you made when you were alive. Just sprayed this for the first time, but I'm liking it so far. I agree about the top notes, they're outstanding and I want them to stick around. I think this would get some compliments from older folks perhaps. Definitely a mature fragrance, but I like it so far!

I have one bottle left that pre-dates the 2005 re-formulation. It is fantastic, I don’t understand why they changed it but the new version does not smell the same, wonder if something in it was banned. If you see this in the brown/gold box don’t hesitate buy it.

In Bangladesh this will work best in january on cooler days and nights. once the temprature is over 24 degree Celsius it can be too much. in london i wear this when it's below 18 degree colder the better. summer night time it can work but a cool summer night. i find this is a combination of ysl kouros and cerrutti 1881. but leaning closer to 1881.

Of the many many many fragrances I own, I threw away 2 bottles and this is one of them. Unfortunately the most fitting way to describe this scent to my nose is urine. After many tries it never got better. I do wonder if anyone else have the same problem.

I blind bought this one because ive smelled some of the other ones from this house and boy did I get a treat. This was one of the worst smelling fragrances I've smelled in my life besides banana republics oud mosiac and black walnut. To me it smelled like kid peed on a mattress and it got thrown outside in the summer time and sat outside in the sun for days. I actually took this back to tj Maxx like the next day and swapped it out for something else.
