The OG Versace Pour Homme is excellent. I also actually got a 50 ML bottle back in 2009, and wore it all within a year or so (it was my daily driver, and before I started collecting). Last year I picked up a 100ML tester bottle on the cheap and gave it several wearings last spring and summer. It's as good as I remember it, and will be a staple of my warm weather fragrances. If you're looking for an affordable fresh, clean fragrance, this one is worth a look in my opinion.

I’ve not tried the original Pour Homme, but I do wear both Dylan Blue and Oud Noir, and I prefer Oud Noir. I don’t wear fragrances for the “compliment factor”. I wear fragrances that I enjoy. Thanks for another informative video. Your knowledge of the industry is phenomenal.

Own both Versace Pour Homme and Dylan Blue and both are amazing. I honestly have a 2018 batch of Pour Homme and I can still get whiffs of it after the 7 hr mark. I get about 8 hrs with Dylan Blue. Both fragrances are compliment magnets. Another Versace fragrance I own and gets overlooked is Versace Man Eau Fraiche. It's an amazing spring/summer banger. I've noticed that even though I can't smell it on me, people around me can smell it so be careful not to over spray cause you can go nose blind to the scent. Great review Steve! Dylan Blue was a blind buy and it's a very nice scent. Especially check out for sellers who are selling the Tester bottles and save money, but if one's going to give it as a gift then go with the retail one it's still affordable. I was praying Dior EDT, Dylan Blue and Prada Luna Rossa Carbon on my hands to test and what I have noticed is that Dylan Blue's drydown is more fresher than Dior's and Prada was more smoother and creamy but the drydown notes were the same as Dior's bt DIor was the longest lasting. To me Dylan Blue and Prada LR Carbon are the bests however on the wishlist is Dior Sauvage EDT.

I love Versace Pour Homme. It's my most worn summer fragrance. Based on the compliments, it's the kind of freshness that many women seems to appreciate on a man. I like Dylan Blue but i own already enough blue fragrances. I'm not a fan of Oud but Oud Noir is a very wearable oud fragrance. The VPH line is just a lot of bang for your buck.

dylan blue has a cloying something in there that gives me a headache. not my fav. i like the lemon at the top but the something in there seems overbearing... i have never had that from other versace colognes. btw, if you have never smelled the og versace man... not the eau fraiche generic flanker but the og with nice anise, tobacco... etc.... oooh that one was very special. i just looked it up and man it is expensive now 160 but i is my fav versace and i have smelled and worn most of them... not the oud one yet.. i want it.

My favorite is definitely Oud Noir, and I did buy it. The other two I have tested but ultimately not liked, am not a fan of aquatic notes that much. Versace pour Homme in fact also has to my nose a minor tinge of an egg-like smell. Dylan Blue does not reach deal-braker levels to me, but I already have other top blue versatile fragrances, e.g. Dior Sauvage Edt, Bleu de Chanel Edp, and YSL Y Edp

I personally use Versace frags for different scenarios. I love this line, but I also love the Eros line. I have both the EDT and EDP for Eros, I have Man Eau Fraiche, 2 bottles of Dylan Blue and 2 bottles(different sizes) for Pour Homme. The one I wear most of them all is definitely Pour Homme. I overspray with that one and it seems to come off really pleasant off my skin bc I do get positive feedback from it. That's not to say I haven't gotten positive feedback from Eros or Dylan Blue, but I'm more careful where I wear those bc you can easily come off cloying to people if you spray the same way you have to with Pour Homme. Each has their place and you can easily only own Versace fragrances and be perfectly fine in just about any scenario. Very nice house, IMO.

Dylan Blue doesnt last on me. Fortunately, I have lots of ADG Profumo and Sauvage EDT left on my arsenal. What I do is mix 1:1 parts of both. Guess what the outcome is, a long lasting classier Dylan Blue.

Great as usual, Steven. Really enjoy your video. So far, I only have Oud Noir and I really enjoy it. High quality in designer bottle and definitely a must have for Oud lover. By the way, do you think I should get Dylan Blue? I have mix feeling as mostly people often compare it when Dior Sauvage and Acqua di Gio Profumo. Appreciate your insight, Steven.

@@ctrangedemon both ... it is mild enough that it just smells great - just enough to be noticed but does not offend indoors ... summer outdoors it smells pleasant but sits close to the skin on me - I'd use it more summer indoors. I also have Dylan Blue but while it was compared to Sauvage here I have also heard it compared to Bleu de Chanel - which is more formal (I'd say late Spring thru Early fall - cool temps but not yet cold).

Versace Pour Homme is said to be a weak performer. I have a recent bottle and I don’t find that to be the case. Great summer fragrance.

I was just at the gym and had remembered that I missed this fragrance(VPH) for that particular purpose. Having said that I proceeded to get Guerlain L'homme Ideal Sport lol. Had some Amazon reward money and too be honest it's the most unique aquatic "sporty" scents based on calone/tonka. To me it's better then both CAHS and VPH.

I think I need to get a new Dylan blue bottle. Didn’t use it for close to a year and now I can’t smell it past 30 minutes. Still my favorite daily wearer though!

Zara had a seemed to be inspired release of Versace Pour Homme called A Collection. I really enjoyed it - I hope Zara brings it back.
