That Landoll is sure doing a nice job. At least I can watch other farmers doing some field work. We had several inches of snow here a few days ago. There is still snow in the fields that hasn't melted yet. Temps only in the upper 40's for the next week they are saying.

Thanks. Yes I am happy with the way it’s looking, but I’ve seen wheat go to pot in May before. Just takes a couple weeks of cool damp weather when it’s flowering to mess it up.

Yes, it is. Usually by mid April we can get something done. I’ve seen the month of May become a nightmare for fieldwork more often than not.

Wow, GOALS is the best way for myelf to sum that up!! Awesome, that looks so smooth behind the landoll!! Enjoyed the ride!! What is the average time between ends of the field, say the one you did the filming in first? Thank you Mr Jeff for bringing us along, I hope things are going well planting!! 😁😁👍🇺🇸🇺🇸

Does your Dad do his own seed tending or must you go over & operate the tender for him, & someone has to reload the boxes n the tender❓
@onehappyfarmer3461
@onehappyfarmer3461 Жыл бұрын
We still handle seed corn the old fashioned way. 1 bag at a time. I will help him fill it in the mornings and anytime I’m close. Other wise he gets the exercise. He can run the seed tender for beans if he has to but if I’m close I’ll stop and fill it.

Jeff, since you guys have three tractors that are close in power, how do you and your dad decide which one to use for which job? Weight?
@onehappyfarmer3461

We like the 2375 on the Landoll. It’s just easier to oversee behind it when pulling the rolling harrow. The T8’s end up on the Krause tools or disc by the luck of the draw. I do try to keep the newer T8 on the tools I most likely would be using the most because my father can not figure out the auto steer in it. I have to set it up for him.

It is more than worth it. It is the best thing invented since the pocket tshirt. Yes it has a warning when you approach the ends of the field.

Hi there. We just bought a 2360 with the exact same auto steer setup. Does your tractor stay on line or does it do a lazy s patern?
@onehappyfarmer3461
@onehappyfarmer3461 Жыл бұрын
I’m not sure what you mean by lazy s. I have always just used a straight A or the AB line settings. I sure like the sound of the N14 in the 2360’s.
