I absolutely love this technique!! The only difference is I would apply the same connections to the back like the front. I would start from the neck to the middle then twist/braid across the hair left in the middle. I like mine in a pony tail. Thanks for this🥰

Hi, yes it lasted the full 5 weeks. I’ve done this style twice now, with success both times. I used some tangle free rubber bands I found at my local beauty supply store. Those worked well for me 🙂

Sis,thank you soooo much for this video! I'm planning on doing my hair myself to save money but I've been dreading cornrowing it. This is so much easier & quicker. Years ago I used to box braid my own hair with extensions. That took about 6 hours. I could get it done in 4 hrs if I rushed it. I'm certainly not looking to spend that much time on my hair now. After a year of this tutorial sitting in my ‘watch later,’ I have finally completed it. I started at 11am and it’s now 5pm. I also almost never do my own hair so I had to redo a few of the boxes, even twisting my hair down got a little messy because I couldn’t figure out how to make them neat lines for some reason.
