I just discovered this Souptember collaboration when I saw Farmer's Wife Homestead and Stacey's Famous Cream of Chicken Soup. Your four recipes look wonderful, especially the chicken and dumplings recipe. I also wanted to comment on two things you did. One being soaking up the pan grease with a paper towel. Genius idea! The other thing you did was use a liquid to "clean out" a jar/can to get all that food goodness. I learned to do exactly that years ago from an Italian friend who owned a restaurant. "Waste not, want not" was his motto. Truer words. Thanks for putting this collaboration together. I'm looking forward to adding these recipes to my Soup Library!

My stove is not level and I keep saying, I will test both the Pressure Canner and the water bath canner. I did go and pick peaches a couple of months ago and tried my hand at water bath canning making peach jam. EPIC FAIL, was so runny. I canned it anyway and at least can use as flavoring. I am working my way down the list. Thanks Again. May the Holy Spirit continue to guide all of us. Jesus is coming. God knows all and sees all. Love your channel.

OBSERVATION... I'm most happy to see your level of frugality...rinsing containers to grab every little smidgen of product & flavour! It grieves me to watch cooking videos wherein the cook leaves & wastes so much product in containers, cans, bowls, and bottles. Why do people do that? Laziness? Ignorance? Whatever the cause, its pure wasteful. My family taught me to be frugal, never to waste a drop of food so rinsing out those containers was drilled into all of us at an early age. It's wonderful to see you not only practicing this simple, easy, and conscientious act of frugality, but also including and drawing attention to the practice. Thank you for actively encouraging frugality and teaching others to follow suit!
