Thanks for this video. I purchased a 54" new roland print and cut last august with the white set up and my prints weren't coming out good. Tried this and WOW what a difference. I knew I was missing something!!!! So glad I came across this video. Thanks again!

How do you set up white in your file? Is it a spot color? If so what is it named?

Would be nice to see a reply to this question.

Spot color RDG_WHITE is available in the "Roland VersaWorks" Swatches included with the software. You need swatches in there for cutting, per cutting, metallic printing, etc. depending on the equipment you have.

Thank you! I also notice I start getting banding on my white after my 3rd overprint. Any ideas? I print each hit on standard mode on a Bn20. Thank you very much for your tips & knowledge!

does white ink serve any purpose in t-shirt production (vinyl shirt transfers). was thinking of just going with bn-20a. i do plan on posters and decals, but not interested in clear stickers, in which white might be useful.. but again, i don't plan on doing clear stickers.

How old is old when it comes to clear vinyl? I've tried all the steps and it's still not printing white nicely. All I can think is it's the clear vinyl, but my roll of vinyl is about 4 months old, is that too old?
