I wish you could have taught on the absteining from foods a bit more biblically. Even tho you made that joke about the donuts which was funny because we know theyre bad for us, then you went on to justify eating food bad for you. Donuts arent good for anyone. You made light of a serious issue. You are not a health practitioner clearly. Just praying for things that were not meant to be eaten is not an excuse. And then you just moved on after people laughed. I cant beleive you did not preach truth there.

I realize your comment was posted over a year ago but I just wanted to add that it's unfortunate that people felt the need to jump all over you. I wish they would have shown you a little more grace. I too used to find various faults within my pastor's sermons. Eventually I had to learn that not every specific detail can be fully and completely addressed within a given sermon. Giving a sermon can be very challenging and I needed to extend my pastor the grace he needed to allow him to focus on the import topic at hand. It is very likely that the pastor knows and is simply choosing not to get entangled in such details in order to stay focused on the intended message.
