Pastor Gary, would you mind spending more time on Legalism? As a person who has struggled with this, not realizing there was an actual term for it, I would love to hear more examples of this and examples of how to raise children with the instruction of God's word. Terms like "helicopter parenting" come to mind. I appreciate your teachings! -Learning from Arizona.

This is a very good study. I truly understand and felt convicted that I asked God for his forgiveness and I thank him that he led me to this study to recognize that I had that sin in my life. Sin is still sin even if you did it with good intentions.

raw eggs are awesome, they just have to be fresh and preferably organic. Since I take spices and herbs that fight or kill salmonella or e.coli and I check ncbi and pubmed for interactions and contraindications which is much better than mainstream health websites. Although more attention to detail is required to assess a proper decision on herb and pharmaceutical consumption. It hasn't been a problem for me. Although I've gotten sick from dining out before. I occasionally still like a raw egg here and again.

Why would was it considered a sin for Jonathan to taste the honey when Saul imposed the fast & not God?

This one confused me. If the imposed vow for the army not to eat was not of God, why would the lot (from God) point out that it was Jonathan who sinned? (Assuming that was the yes or no question being asked of God.) I'll have to read these portions again. I really didn't get all of that.
