God the Father plans for God the Son to die for our sins. And God the Son agree to that plan ALL WAY TO THE END. Think about how tough it was to actually go through with it that Jesus sweat blood knowing what was ahead. "Not my will but your will be done.(Luke 22:42) Abraham's son, issac, was willing to give his life because his father said so. That plan was shown through Abraham and Issac before God stopped it and provided a ram.
