Verse of the Day February 4

This week, we continue our journey to read the Bible together in a year. Each day there will be a reading from the Old Testament, the Wisdom Literature, and the New Testament using the Alpha Bible App. Pastor Doug’s devotions will be from part of that day’s readings. The Verse of the Day is Matthew 23:23, “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you tithe mint, dill, and cummin, and have neglected the weightier matters of the law: justice and mercy and faith. It is these you ought to have practiced without neglecting the others.”
