The artifact set 'Vermillion Hereafter' might be connected to the fourth yaksha that disappeared from Liyue, leaving Xiao alone. The mask looks quite similar, and there were also strange markings around Watatsumi island. Just a little something, also I may be wrong and they're not connected. But if it is, I'm really excited to learn more about the electro yaksha and why they disappeared. Edit: Seems like I was wrong. I'm sorry for getting your hopes up guys

It honestly didn't help that 2.5 felt so sparse in event stuff. We had like 3? And the first two weren't time gated so couple hours and completely done. So compared to that this like double that and one is a two week festival event plus a new region. So yeah this patch feels huge in comparison. The domain builder is awesome though and I can't wait till they add it to the teapot! But otherwise, 2.5 felt very barren especially since the first one was just an Enkanomiya clone with a handful of new boxes, so I had very little "excitement" to explore the area. Just boxes and was out. :( Still I prefer side clone areas with new boxes like that over the days waiting for Dragonspine and literally NOTHING to do lol. Can't wait for Chasm though! It looks huge and so cool looking! X3

The couple first part of the music for Enkanomiya: “Sink into oblivion” is very similar to a song from the catholic church in West Borneo, Indonesia. I remember singing that song many times since I was little. The lyric goes: “Ajarilah kami, Bahasa cinta-Mu. Agar kami dekat, pada-Mu ya Tuhanku” English translation: “Teach us Your love language. I hope the artifacts for Xiao will really bring him to the top tier DPS as that is his only role. Hoyoverse will really do him a disservice if the set will increase his DPS by a mere few percentage as compared to what we are using. Theory crafters initial assessment is the set is not worth the resin farming.

It's not worth farming because of the time it takes to get good pieces and the diminishing returns it has on top of other buffs like geo resonance and Zhongli resistance shred. 36% atk from 2/2pc is more than enough lol

This update is just the right amount after resting and playing calmly for a while. I love how genshin gives us the exciting and energetic patch as well as the calm patch. The rhythms are great and it keeps me playing healthily. Not too addicted that I feel tired. I just love this game sm!

Honestly the things that are going on in the Chasm, with the whole Abyssal energy corrupting hilichurls and crystals, really reminds me of what happened in the Enkanomiya event. Like, even the gadget mechanic is akin to the Bokuso Box.

I am sooo excited for the upcoming update. Most of all, I'm hoping for an Itto banner and good luck with my summons. Actually, I would also like to summon Ayato, but I already have a good water char. I'm still missing a lot from Geo, so Itto would be great too. The events also give me hope that we can farm a lot of Primogems. Housing topic: I really like decorating in the teapot, but I find the limit for the decorations set way too low. Will the limit be increased somehow in future updates? Above all, I find it a pity that animals take up so much space because they are really important for the right atmosphere.

No. You understand that if they increase the resin cap, people still are going to complain. Increasing resin cap doesn't mean people are going from 30 min gameplay to straight 8 hours of gameplay, it's just a bit of an increase. Also, if you had more resin, what would you do when you built all your characters? Complain again how's there no content? The entire 2.8 is leaked to be a full rerun, meaning a good time to build our own characters and make them better. Imagine if you have more resin, what would even be the reason to play then?

As a 1.0 player it feels so weird.... Back in 1.0 Dragonspine and The Chasm were labelled in the map but not yet exlorable, now both are released... The nostalgia when I'm there lol, the 2 best executed and designed regions

Well, both are under the influence of the abyss, so it could be that Violin Music/String instruments are used more with the Abyss, which makes sense considering how absolutely eerie violin can sound.

Of course the skills/items/events descriptions i believe are read off scripts to ensure correct information is given, and you can clearly tell these segments apart from the normal conversation.

The Chasm works very similar to the Enkanomiya event, which is a good thing for many reasons! Other than the fact that the devs can take a well deserved break from coding new mechanics, we already know from the Enka event that these mechanics work extremely well and aren't too boring or challenging! Looking forward to the new event, especially the festival (I'm a sucker for character interaction)!! Good luck with your pulls everyone (I pray for Venti to come home early)
