​@@Suited_Nat From the few thing we can see and hear, Arlecchino was after someone, Freminet was protecting them and got caught doing so by Lyney, and you can hear Lynette I believe crying and talking about someone framing them and backing them into a corner so either Arlecchino turned on them after finding Freminet hiding this person with the twins seemingly in on it, or worse she's hurt Freminet for whatever he's done and the twins turned against them because they care more for Freminet than father or there's a third party who got the sibling trio into trouble with father

Even though Arlecchino was gracious enough to adopt Lyney, Lynette and Freminet in their darkest times, I still feel sorry that she had to be their “Father”. Lyney doesn’t want to become Arlecchino’s successor but feels like it’s his responsibility and duty because she saved Lynette. Lynette feels pressure to impress Arlecchino and make her proud. Freminet not being allowed to show emotions in front of her. Yet they all feel that they must stay loyal to her because she saved them… it’s really tragic

People overlook that just because she's better than the previous Knave, which is a really low bar, she's not all that great for the kids either. Really the best option would be an actual home that isn't using them as child agents but that's beyond just Arle alone. The buildup to this whole Sumeru mind transfer conspiracy is insane, but people didn’t get the hints. “Golden Slumber” and what happened to Apep… Cyno is too closely connected to the true culprit through Hermanubis… King Deshret. He is playing the long game. He flooded Apep with hivemind water through Gurabad. Deshret never sacrificed himself. On the contrary, he poisoned Apep’s mind with his own. We got that suspicion of mine confirmed in that new polearm’s story. She became a Deshret sage for swallowing his “flesh and blood”.

Another comment pointed it out, but this trailer actually explains why Freminet is shown using The Bell. Its passive is called Rebellious Guardian, and here we see Freminet seemingly rebelling against Arlecchino to protect his loved ones. While I'm sure it's just a coincidence, since the name also just relates to the story connected with it and it also just happens to be the default steampunk claymore-- it's a neat little touch.

But lets say if Furina had a 2nd story quest or event, it'd probably be like an event or something on some sort of cultural exchange or so

This still feels so surreal. After so much anticipation, uncertainty that she'll be playable and excitement over any small appearance of her since she was first introduced, she is finally here. I'm so happy I was here to experience the build up and release of the most anticipated character to date. She is one of the most well written and interesting characters in the game. Her arc has been gradual and emotional and I can't wait to see more of her story unfold in 4.6. This patch belongs to her. We won, Arlecchination.

Idk. Something tells me that Arrlechino is doing something noble here but the trailer paints her otherwise. Arrlechino probably wants Lyney to be the next King, but in the process, Arlecchino probably has to die or something. Since Arrlechino has a curse, it probably has negative impacts towards others, further emphasizing the need for her death. Lyney and the rest probably didn't expect she'd suggest that, which made Arlecchino use violence to force them to kill her.
