While turning a blind eye to the suffering of the people!" Which seemed to be a much more important line than it ended up being. Hoyo does a great job at showing a lot, but not enough to really understand the whole story in the version trailers. It could be another npc line to bring more drama to the trailer, but I think it could well be Wriothesley but made the trailer so people might think it's an npc... Honestly, it could be either way. I kinda wish it to be Wrio

​@Sayumain01 what I read from other comments in other places, he had to simply do the voice without going so in depth of the character So it was very aggressive And ltr on when he is all but done with the story, he requested to redo the voices cuz he felt like he can get into the character much more personally after understanding his background cuz he felt like he wasnt as stoic of a character as he thought But HYV denied his request to redo his voice lines So...take it with a grain of salt whether it's true or not be it for his passion of his VA profession or to protect himself from ppl who could bash on him with how aggressive Neuvi sounds

It reminds me of a theory I have about Furina, where she was originally much truer to her ideal, but much like Nahida, was not as well loved by the people of fontaine as Egeria was. As such, she had to constantly put on a show and curry favor in order to maintain her power/status as an archon. Perhaps this line is what Furina was like before centuries of insecurity took their toll.

I can't stop replaying from 3:30. It feels like the whole fate of Fontaine depends on Neuvillete at that moment. He struggling to hold what seems to be primordial sea water or some sort of abyssal power, reminiscing the words of what I presume is the previous Hydro Archon, and also that sad yet beautiful melody in the background. This begs the question if Nuevillette has been the Archon all along and Furina is acting as his proxy. Like Furina is literally begging for her life here and no matter how weak or powerful a God is they have their pride and will never kneel in front of another. Also remember that he had a "?" To be fair, a lot of the bigger crisis from Monstadt happens before the game, and being the first area of the game, the developers probably didn't wanted to make it too complicated and probably didn't had everything planned out, just a general idea of were they wanted the game to go, but Venti does deserve the scorning, he literally let the aristocracy enslave Mondstadt, and he is just irresponsible overall, the whole "letting people be free" is just an excuse for him to be lazy and not worry of ruling over, or at the very least, supervise his region.

(Hence the begging) which in turn leads to Neuvilette's plan to infiltrate the jail under trumped up charges. On the other hand, you might argue that Furina was going along with Neuvilette's plan - and acting like a victim in order to get Traveller into the jail (The former more likely, because Furina had encountered the Traveller beforehand - during the trial for Lyney. When it comes to the Fatui, the only 2 members she knew were Childe and Arlecchino... hence the idea of the 3rd party

This has to be my favorite trailer so far. The whole thing is pieced together incredibely, it's so chaotic compared to the other trailers, with so many characters talking and finishing each other's lines and with so much scenery and character powers being shown off. And in addition it shows off not just one or two storylines but two story quests and two archon quest chapters, while weaving them together as if they're one story. The part where Furina's begging for her life and everyone's accusing Neuvilette is brilliant. They're obviously from different quests but blend together perfectly.

Wriothesley's VA did such an amazing job.... so emotional and Neuvilette's too, i can hear the trembling of his voice, like he's trying to hold tears. and his character is also standing out, as he doesn't see himself like "an important person" (the first meeting with traveler). closer to the end of the first 2 main story quests he learns how significant his role actually is, and judging from the trailer, Wriothesley asking him in despare, if "this" is what Neuvilette calls justice, Neuvilette struggling to understand his emotions might unconsciously protect himself by blocking them. what makes him even more wholesome is that he just tries to be a better person and I'm looking forward to the new version!!!

Why this is perhaps the best trailer out there - an analysis: 1. hook - jail time - brings the audience in 2. context - fortress and odd things - builds intrigue 3. action - character introduction - releases the energy and makes things happen 4. questions - of what is going on and amazing visual cuts and amazing rearrangement of lines - grows anticipation 5. action - with Neuvilette we bring in badass themes and conclusion and more thematic colour 6. distrust discord and questions - the scales sway around as the lines get more emotional 7. damned fate - strong statements, strong visuals, damning anticipatory orchestra trying to get to the end 8. legacy - cellos of old, swelling with orchestras of new, concluding in soft anticipation and goosebumps (real) the coordinated editing using visual, audio and music to build a structure that brings people in is absolutely vital, and the selective use of different amount of chord progressions and variation (alongside with soundscape elements of steampunk and whalesong) enhances the entire experience, and building layers and layers of intrigue to come Not to mention the incredible selection and arrangement of dialogues across fragments of quests to associate them with a darker meaning, and exceptionally the edited imagery of sinking in a floating water cube truly blows the mind

Hoyoverse is again making me want to pull for both characters. Looking forward to both of them, but especially Wriothesley since he looks like the first cryo catalyst, and he punches stuff (just like Heizou who I also enjoy a ton)
