halo didnt do much in this incident... it was all on the central pilar which has been in F1 for decades. the T-shaped thing at the top prevented max's car from sliding forward. I dont get why every ontop incident people keep praising the halo when physics dont even work that way. Also drivers are glass now? back in the old days weve had head hits with tires during crashes like this and the driver didnt even get bruised. The helmet is there for a reason.
