The simple fact that max has bad eyes and still allowed to race baffles me. Max had all 4 wheels locked entering the corner way too fast. How about stop dive bombing and pushing and own the fact that you can’t handle traffic or did you forget your not in a cart. And the complete disregard of teams request to take care of the tires. Indeed. I think it was Verstap that could've done more to avoid a collision. He came from too far back to make that a legitimate move. Weird because it was obvious he was going to get past at some point. He is a fast driver but in all honesty he is a rubbish racer. Especially against Lewis. @@Mcorpmike Actually the FIA report mentions the telemetry shows Max didn't brake later than usual, but just carried more speed due to DRS. Max claims he locked up because Lewis started to make the turn while Max was next to him. Lewis drove the same line as other laps, but with a car next to you, that might not have been the best move, which is probably why the FIA judged Lewis could possibly have avoided the crash. Max might still have overshot the turn, and not have gained a position, but without a collision.

Blaming Lewis for the contact is childish , Max was carrying to much speed to make the corner from the inside 🤔 if the car can't turn you are going straight so what would happen to Lewis even if he had a little more room🤔 don't forget make was running wide of the track because of too much speed on another attempt to past Lewis. Turns out you don't know the basics of racing. He was definitely going to make the corner. They both cleared the lapped car late, into the breaking zone, which is the main issue I have with both of them. Max was obviously coming in with a speed boost. It's just a racing incicent. But of course the stewards can't have that. Meanwhile it's completely fine to push someone off the track then have the stewards force them to give that position back.

Let me start this by saying, max went too aggressive into the corner and locking up clearly showed that the move was a bit desperate. But lets not pretend that the entire (britisch) community wasnt blaming max for complaining about the exact same move norris did on max at austria but then the comments are "big from max to talk about divebombing". So if max does the divebomb, he is the villain. And if someone else does the divebomb, max cant complain because he does it too, so he is the villain again. Same goes for turn 1. Piastria carries too much speed into the corner and forced lando and by extend max wide. So how is that max his bad when in the replay he is clearly furthest ahead at the apex whilst being on the racing line? But everytime max runs someone wide it is deemed a penalty by the community. Just look at how Hulkenberg in silverstone did the exact same move max did (running wide in turn 1 at the start and gaining some advantage) and the FIA did nothing. Stop over dramatising stuff when we can enjoy these races with some more action. A good analogy still is that if you put a mic on a football player, you'd get way more spicy radio messages. The only entity to blame is the FIA for having no clue of to enforce their own rules. Don't blame drivers for the FIA's ineptitude with some half assed analysis of what happened.

Poor choice of words by the FIA to say car 44 could have done more to avoid the incident. Hamilton (and many other drivers) were avoiding those incidents during the entire 2021 championship - that's how Verstappen won that year. Sadly Max is a really gifted driver that made his way into what would become the dominant car in F1 for three years. But in those three years, he became convinced it was all him, and the team and the car were secondary. @@Alumnikiid what are you even talking about... it´s a motorrace, not some pussy contest for black cars with rainbow colours on the helmet. and by the way, abudhabi 21 lewis let the door so open that 3 cars could have passed him... Also I remember silverstone, where lewis went of the line, understeered into max with around 280kph and send him into the wall with almost 60G´s... cant remember max doing something stupid like this...

@@Sooopa_Doopa he locked up because he had to put in more steering imput to avoid a crash, because lewis was turning in on him like he always does. and yes, max is by far the best driver on the grid, EVERY SINGLE expert will tell you this. actually he is on a senna, schumacher prime level, or even better then this... and trust me, as a schumi fan it´s hard for me to even say this.

Max is extremely lucky that Lewis took the stance he did here (not blaming Max). Everyone and his dog could see that Max was completely out of control with not chance of stopping and Lewis’s only option for avoiding him was for he himself to drive straight off the track. FIA seem to have bottled it somewhat, but with Lewis’s statement probably couldn’t penalise Max.

Having seen this issue from a different perspective, Max did dive bomb the corner, did get ahead of Hamilton but could not have made the corner at that speed. Hamilton didn't see him and turned in on him.

Point 1: I am not a racer but love watching F1 - I have seen many similar incidents and the FIA can never stick with the same conclusion or verdict. Point 2 : In my opinion Max had the right to go on the inside as there was space and time to do so which was evident in the video replays. He then locked up with both front wheels and thus became a passenger, how could this contact then be avoided, LH just had to turn into the corner later. He is the GOAT and was surely checking his mirrors and must have seen MS approaching. He turns in early as a way of trying to put Max off and thus resulting in contact. To me this is racing and should not have been referred. This is what I want to see. I am not a max or Lewis fan and just want to see hard racing.
