I think most Flagships will take good enough photos. The issue with the "soccer-style" knock-out contest is that all the phones are not tested head to head within each scenario so you will never know the true potential of each phone. However, it is entertaining to watch. Also, the voters' tastes are subjective but not standardized but it does give you an idea of a layman's preferences.

So following your thought process, you eliminated HM6P and qualified Huawei Pura for the exact same reason of being over saturated as you described. Your comparison needs more depth and substance. And also consider disabling AI mode and using natural color profile if you want to have natural colors from the camera. Also, try to add Honor magic 6 RSR to the competition next time.

Just my opinion. I don't like single elimination bracket method. Sometimes camera can't be that always consistent, depending how the chip recognize that particular situation. More photos sample results more reliable comparison.

I definitely chose this sequence 1st Huawei pura 70 ultra 2nd IPhone 15 pro max 3rd Samsung galaxy s24 ultra 4th Google Pixel 8 Pro How Many Of You Agree With It... This year WE definitely admire and appreciate Huawei for bringing such a magestic phone and iphone for videography and samsung for ready to make a post photos with much significant vibrant and saturated colours pics while google have definetly good and balanced processing but its lens shifts stucks more in videos. This is my experience summary with these phones i say this on behalf of fact that i used these smartphones in order to check which ones better. I must say Huawei is Great I used 15 pro max as a daily driven smartphone😊
