Finally. I’ve been researching this camera for too many hours. There are a gaziilion x4 reviews and almost all their shots were not dewarped. The ground or the edges of the export always had an unsettling bend. As an effect it’s fine, but on a walk and talk bent trees and buildings are distracting. Thanks for sharing. Looks like you can get some normal shots from those extreme fisheye lenses after all.

This is so useful. I've had a 360 x4 for a couple of months now but hardly used it because so many videos are either how to shoot or how to 3dit not both,. Great informative video, I just received my insta360 camera and just about to try it out for the first time. I really enjoy taking video and have the GoPro 10 and DJI drone and a 4k camcorder in my arsenal. They all have there place for different situations. Thank you! Yes, you can absolutely use the full 360 mode with the chest mount! I usually don’t because half the image ends up showing my chest, but if you want full flexibility, it’s definitely an option.

As much as possible the lenses should face the subject to avoid an obvious stitch line. But sometimes it’s not always possible to make the lenses face the subject. In this case the x4 should be around 60cm away from the subject, to achieve the minimum stitching safety distance, for a seamless stitch line
