Honestly this game deserves a lot more. Its the complete package and puts other games to shame with all the content it has. It's everything I wished GGST should have been. At least it converted me from GGST to GBFV player now.

It makes me sad that Granblue Fantasy Versus has had one of the best trailers and announcements of the EVO and it is not being given the relevance it deserves, but I suppose it is normal for an anime fighter

Glad I was able to watch the reveal trailer ‘cause I was middle of work before lunch break. Plus already knew that Versusia is confirmed thks to Twitter + already predicted for Sandalphon as the next dlc but for Season 2. Also me: still stuck in A rank with Beatrix and her nerfs ‘cause of tryhard players trying to get S/Master Rank.

3:01 - Also like Beelzebub, since he was made to be the antagonist in Versus, but also integrated him in WMtSB in GBF and has a raid, too. Versusia uses the power of the Omnipotent like how we did in GBF’s Heart of the Sun event to fight the real Phoenix that caused most of the events in GBF (her SSBA has her hair change to a white-ish teal/blue, too.) Real Rein/mom is likely in Estalucia (which we also saw in the event, where Phoenix flew over it and also made Lucilius break out.) Sandalphon is the most popular character in GBF and it makes sense because he’s a mix of Cloud, Zach, and the angel theme from FF7 Crisis Core (his playstyle is Vergil’s quickdraw attacks and his Summoned Swords, while may also have an install for his Supreme Primarch form and is like Devil Trigger in DMC.) He was a villain in WMtSB1, then went through an arc through the other two parts (Lucilius beheaded Lucifer and stole his body, making Sandalphon the next Supreme Primarch, which is why he’s a counter to Lucilius as Cloud was to Sephiroth.) Vikala is a Divine General/Zodiac like Anila and is a Human, while represents Rat (her SNK reference is her super being Athena’s Crystal Shot Ex from KoF All Star, like how Anila references Terry Bogard.) With her mouse ears, she’s cheerful and extroverted, but a shut-in/introverted without it and loses her transformation (she also has her big, sentient mouse/bear trap, Dormouse, who is her friend and fights with her, likely making her a puppet character, trap character, or both.) She’s also trained to fight Astrals like Lucilius and Bubs, like all Divine General shrine maidens (her field skill will likely be an install like Nier’s.) Vikala is also a reference to Disney/Mickey Mouse (her nickname is Vicky and she can summon the Disney Castle with her field skill.) Vikala was leaked because of a voice line (I think because of Katalina?) so we just didn’t know the order of the three datamined characters.

The only reason Sandalphon wasn't announced earlier is because you can sell a whole season pass just by announcing him, that's how popular he is... xD Ngl, I'm cautious about the rat announcement, she have potential to combine Ferry's range with Cagliostro traps, or even chain trap-to-trap like Grimnir's gimmick so...Nier problems on steroids? If it's to get that level of imbalance I'd rather have the dog zodiac as katana with a slice of mobility-focused puppet instead. Plus, rat is mostly popular because of the idol side (especially since the hololive collab at GranFES) she doesn't seems to fit as much as dog or monkey generals for this part of the story. It's great that we finally get an original playable character tho, only took 2 versions of the game and who knows how many DLC characters to reach her. Name conventions are a mess between Versusia and Versa I swear...But the blue hair is a step forward exploring the related part of the lore so that's cool!

just a small thing, Kat's costume was never in a Battle Pass it's just straight purchasable in store for 6 bucks cause thats cheaper than the pass lol

Guess what Kai Versusia not only is an Alter ego of Gran/Djeeta Mom,but She actually the hidden meaning behind Versus in Granblue Fantasy Versus (+Rising) which i find absolutely Stunning of an reveal cant wait for her release and also the Goat himself Sandalphon will be playable he is here for Belial & Beelzebub and im all in for it
