This green series from Tom Ford has not gotten much press and I'm very lucky to try it out and see what it's all about. This incense one shows the note (not as much as I'd like) and is paired with an excellent pine woody aspect and one note that surprised me.

I own and LOVE Vert D'Encens. It was my first Tom Ford that I purchased. I think the heliotrope is superb in this one. Thanks for your thorough and exciting review. Your reviews are always uplifting and spot-on.

Vert d’Encens is a gem! One of my favs TF. Going for a full bottle, even if the performance is a bit poor to me, I love the green -almost camphor like-woody incense scent.

When I first experienced this fragrance on skin I was in doors. I wore it on a rainy day and the whole olfactive reception changed. This fragrance is great for foggy climates. Great San Francisco - Seattle fragrance.

I haven't tried this one yet, but I own Vert des Bois. It's like a greener Oud Wood, I actually prefer it. I'll have to give this a shot.

Just texting what I personally got out of this, Gothic Green resinous fragrance. I find this scent to be very daring and strong when sniffed up close, instantly reminding me of Tiziana Terenzi Laudano Nero(the balsamic quality here is as bitter and daring as laudano nero to my nose). The resins in this fragrance are very thick and gummy, fir balsam with a prominent green note from Pine forms the spine of this scent. An extremely gothic and smoky scent, not for summer. Vert des Bois is best imo among the vert TF releases.

Was curious about this one was just iffy about the heliotrope 🤔 love pine and incense but there is just so many tom fords I want not sure this is a must.

I was supposed to love this.. I love pine and woody green frags, but this is soooo sweet, it kinda makes me feel sick. It also smells... Old. Like an old school old man scent. Disappointing.
